waste of money
I was so excited about getting this and when I got it I was totally dissapointed. Everything about it is cheap. The only thing I sort of like is the highlighters but everything else is awful. I would NOT recomend anyone to buy this.

when it arrived there was eyeshadow all over the inside lip gloss had eyeshadow smeared in it , eyeshadow and blush where all over the place..not to happy with that

love this stuff!
I bought two as Christmas gifts and ended up keeping one for myself! i've never tried anything smashbox before and am very pleased with the products. I also have very sensitive eyes which seem to react to everything and these colors and formulations have not caused a reaction at all. this would be a terrific item for travel - everything in one container. I am a new smashbox convert!

Are you a amake up artist?
Only if you are a makeup artist or really play with makeup will this be a great idea for you. I mean how many people need 6 eye brow shades? and Smashbox should give you less highlighters and more range of blush; also get rid of some of the eye shadows and replace with blush brushes...needs to be more pratical for the individual woman.

Worst Palette Ever
I received this gift as a Christmas present from my parents and I hate it! The neutral colors all look the same when you apply them. The pigmentation on the neutral colors is awful. However, with the darker colors you are able to see them but the colors look terrible! They are difficult to blend and are not flattering. I guess I’m just used to mac's eyeshadows. Anyway the eyeliners are awful and mine are already drying up. The lip colors look awful, just absolutely dreadful. The highlights are ok they aren't as bad as the rest of the palette but they’re not great. Oh and those brushes are cheap, anyone thinking of purchasing this, DON'T!

BEST PURCHASE OF 2010!!
This is awesome!! I love smashbox and have used for years. I went on a cruise and this was all I took as far as makeup. Everything you will need in one case. I thought when I ordered that there would be very little product ( for the price) but I was wrong -- there is a lot of product!! I have used everyday for several months and can barely tell I 've used any at all. AWESOME - just get it - you'll LOVE it!! Thanks Holly!

SO FABULOUS !!!
Every time I open it up I find another color or product in it I love. I don't agree with some of the other reviews that the shadow quality is a "lesser" quality than their regular products. In fact, I am very careful with the colors because of the depth and intensity of color ! Just last night I was playing in the palette again, and "discovered" an eyeliner color that I never would have even played with at a store, much less purchased just to play with something out of my comfort zone!. I also found a cream lipstick that's gorgeous, that I would never have picked out normally. My best find is one of the four blushes that's killer! I'm 55 years old, and have purchased MANY palettes over the years. This one is the BEST EVER! I'm thinking of buying a second one as a backup! Love smashbox... this was a real find, especially for a very moderate price.

Not Smashbox Quality
I agree with other reviewers that this is just not Smashbox quality. I have used Smashbox for quite some time, and their shadows are quite pigmented and wearable; these are not. Yes, there are a lot of colors, but they just don't go on like the regular Smashbox shadows, the colors don't 'pop', and there is no staying power with them. The blush & powders are okay, but this is going back.

i like it!
I find this palette to be quite lovely! I think the product inside is on par with other full-size Smashbox products, and I have plenty! I especially like having the different colors of eyebrow product and the eyeliners. I will agree that the brushes are not the same quality as full-size smashbox brushes, but are you buying this for the product or the brushes? I bought it for the product!

Not the regular Smashbox
The shadows and other colors are not anything like the ones I've been using. This is closer to a discount store product. I'm very disappointed and wish I'd have sent it back.

Smashing!! Love it!
Smashbox is fabulous! Several people have told me how great my skin looks, and the only thing different that I've been doing is using this kit's blushs and highlighters!! :) This kit is so worth the price. Lots of fun shadow colors to play with. Finding great new combinations everyday. Try it!!
The only note I have is that the shadow is a little powdery on the palette, and I can see that it may get messy in the future. It seems to say put on my eyes, however, so this is not a big concern for me. I recommend this to everyone. Going to purchase one for my boyfriend's 21-year-old daughter, a real fashion and makeup lover. She'll love it.
