Great Investment I have owned this brush for years and it is a wonderful investment. Yes, it is not inexpensive but Smashbox brushes are of the highest quality and last forever. You can certainly purchase a less expensive product but you will have to replace it sooner and the brush will not be as silky smooth as this one. You never experience those little annoying hairs coming off the brush and onto your skin. A wonderful luxury but also a necessity. They say your application tools are important to your makeup application and until you use a quaility brush you won't know what they are talking about. 01-17-13
