V31436 - Dyson DC41 Animal w/Soft Dusting Brush,Mattress&HardFloor Tool
Best Vacuum Ever
Will never own anything but dyson. I've owned it for 6 months and its just amazing how much more clean my house is.
Love My Dyson!
I love my Dyson, I just wish that all the attachments came labeled so you know what they're used for and not just slips of paper in the box. There are many attachments and unless you keep those papers you can get confused as to what to use the attachments for. Other than that the vacuum itself is wonderful, best ever!
Best Purchase I Ever Made From QVC !!!!
The best sweeper I have ever owned... Thank you QVC for offering this on monthly payments...
I'm sad to even give this a bad review
Long story short, I am a huge Dyson fan! I've owned now 3 of their uprights an even bought a few as gifts (not very cheap gifts).
I was so excited when I received this in the mail! I went vacuum-crazy for a few weeks. It worked pretty well, but was very comparable to my previous-version Dyson.
Fast forward maybe not even a year, this vacuum barely works, it gets clogged very easily (just look at it wrong), it's making awful noises, and now a crucial piece in the back broke off.
I'm so, so, so disappointed. I paid way too much to just throw this where I feel it belongs. But I feel like I truly wasted near $700.
I'm a believer
I have wanted a dyson for six years and just couldn't wrap my mind around the cost . I finally went for it when it was a tsv and I am so glad I did.My cleaning experience hasn't been the same. My only suggestion would be to make the extender wand more flexible
This is the second Dyson I have purchased. I have only had this vacuum cleaner 8 months and the rollers quit working. I figured no problem, it's covered under warranty. I called Dyson and they told me to take it to my local Sears for repair. After the unit was at Sears an entire month, it was finally returned to me and NOTHING had been done - the rollers still did not work. I called Dyson and they told me to take it to my local UPS store and have it shipped to Dyson. I shipped it 2 1/2 weeks ago - have yet to hear a word from Dyson. I called today and was told I needed to call back next week with the tracking number!!! This is the great customer service provided on a $600.00 vacuum cleaner??!!! Never again. Have had to purchase a "cheap" vacuum so I could clean my home during the 7 weeks it has been being "repaired".
Wish I could have returned it, but once you get it out of the box, you can't get it back in. This vacuum is too heavy and hurts the back when you use it. It does pick up, but I hate using it every time and it is too expensive not to use it, so I'm stuck paying for something I hate to use. I can't figure out how to clean the filter and the instructions leave much to be desired. I wish I had stuck to my Oreck.
If U Got Pets
The "suction power" of this DC-41 is AWESOME. The first time I used it, I was amazed at how much crud was in the tube. I have an indoor dog, plus ranch living brings in a lot of muck-n-mudd, and this is a great Vacuum. Plus I like the No-bag feature because if you happen to suck up an earring, like I did, you can easily find it by dumping the contents of the vacuum into a big bucket. I am pleased with the performance of the DC-41
Great vacuum, BUT needs TLC
I've owned this vacuum for about 6 months (TSV) and it's been a FAB vacuum. Lately, I felt the suction was lacking though. Vents were clean. Today it completely stopped working. Called Dyson, just to get a busy signal for AN HOUR (HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!) Finally a friend came by, and had to dissasemble the vacuum. There is a VERY NARROW bottleneck right by the ball, and a lot of little things were building up until the machine turned off. These were little things (i.e. furballs, little pieces of tissue) that my old vacuum would have had no problem sucking up. I think there is an engineering problem with this machine if there is such a narrow opening part that clogs up so easily!!! Took over an hour to get to that part and clean it out!
I Love This Vac
I got this vac awhile ago when it was a TSV. I have always had extremely good vacs and they were always pricey, so the cost of this one didn't shock me too badly. It was time for a new one at home, so I went for this unit. It is the best one that I have ever used. I love the suction, I love the attachments. I vac a couple of times each week. I have always kept a clean home; it's a curse sometimes. I enjoy cleaning (I know) and this vac can really get dust, litter and dirt off the floors, furniture and bedding. I was shocked the first time I used it. I had to empty the cannister each time I used it for the first month. No problem, it's easy to do. It's an easy vac to use, can get under things that I could not before. I have always vacuumed my mattresses and the little new tool that comes with this unit is great for that. We have a dog and a cat and I will never have a hairy home with my Dyson. (Not that I ever have had!) It's lighter than older vacs and just updates the whole cleaning experience. I am glad that I bought it. It's a workhorse.
I HATE this vacuum! I am so, so disappointed with it. It doesn't do a good job picking up stuff, nor does it do a good job grooming my carpet. I have to go over and over and over the same areas on my carpet, which isn't a thick shag or anything. I waited for years to buy a Dyson because of the cost, but when QVC had this as a TSV on easy-pay, I couldn't pass it up. But I sure wish I had! It is past the 30-day return or this sucker would be going back. Kenmore makes a nicer, more powerful, better cleaning vacuum for way less money.
Love this vacuum !!! I have 3 dogs and it is a must have. It has so much suction power it made my old carpets look new again
