Great for pet hair! Very good vacuum. Nice accessories for vacuuming furniture and hard service floors. I'm not recommending this as a gift only for the fact that I don't know anyone that would want a vacuum for a gift. But it would be great for anyone with a pet. Picks up everything. 12-22-12

WOW! This is my second Dyson. I will only buy Dyson! They are the BEST. This one is much heavier to push/pull than my other Dyson Animal. The suction is unbelievable! 12-11-11

LOVE THIS SWEEPER! This is the best sweeper we have ever owned. I have a pet that sheds like crazy. I love that you don't have to bend down and switch settings for different piles because it's self adjusting. Works great on hardwoods and tile, too! Also love the part where that you can pull out. The attachments stay with the sweeper. Great for keeping the couch clean! 12-05-11

WOW!!! I can't believe I waited so long to get this vacuum. I've never liked vacuuming at all until now. This vacuum is great. It's not as loud or as heavy as I was anticipating. I have a short haired cat, and it didn't seem as if she shed that much until I used the Dyson for the first time. Let's just say my carpet LOOKED clean. I was shocked when I emptied the canister. I recommend this vacuum to everyone. I LOVE IT!! 11-22-11

Best I've owned! I've owned several vacuums in my years and this tops them all! It cleans like no other and I've never scrimped on vacuum quality as I have severe allergies/asthma. The canister is so much easier to empty than my Kenmore, and I don't end up covered in dust when I dump it. Only complaint is I find the bare floor attachment a bit cumbersome--wish this came with a rigid long handle to use with it, but otherwise, this is a real champ! If I had mostly bare floor to clean, I'd probably just get the canister version. 11-01-11

LOVE AT FIRST USE! LOVE MY DYSON!!! super super super easy to put together... ive vacummed my hous 4 times and only had it one day! It was shipped really fast too!! Only complaint is the attachment brush for furniture is not so user friendly you can only use it attached to the long wand and its not as effective that way... So I attached it to the hose and it pops off as you are using it :( other than that i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! 10-29-11

GREAT vacuum! This is the best vacuum I've ever owned! It's very easy to use and the extra attachments are wonderful. Not so pleased with the Zorb though, didn't really see much of a change in my carpets with that. But the vacuum aspect is great! 10-27-11

OMG It even got my son to vacuum w/o asking !!!! Absolutely love this vacuum and only wish we done it sooner. Unbelieveable how much fur and dust came from the carpet. We've used it several times in the same room and its still pulling it out of the carpet. Don't delay pet owners...you need this one. 10-26-11
