Better than Haan
Had a Haan and got rid of it because the wattage 1200 watts isn't enough; this one on the other hand, is 1500 watts and cleans much better. With the Haan I had to get down on my knees and scrape what couldn't come off--I don't do that with this one. The plusses: the smaller mop head allows me to go behind toilets and smaller areas. The negative is the water absorbent pad. I got rid of it and use the Haan pad instead. I cut and zig zagged the pad to fit the Sharper Image and it works great! The other negative is that the cord is a little short, but I rather have a shorter cord because the steam on this one is much hotter then the Haan.

RIP --I won't until someone compensates me for it's loss. I used it maybe 2-3 xs a month (it worked great at first ) today it's little heart(pump) just barely made noise and it was over! If I cannot get some compensation from Sharper Image this bum product will be my last purchase from their company.

MOST WORTHLESS PRODUCT EVER
I BOUGHT THIS STEAMER TO STEAM MY TILE FLOORS WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. I would be much better off with a mop and bucket and ice water. It spits, it sputters, it steams about 3 foot square and then needs to be filled again with distilled water and the cord is sooooo short it does'nt even reach to cover the three foot area.
I bought a humidifier in October from Sharper Image that never even turned on and it was too late to return and had thrown the box etc.
Twice burner by Sharper Image, they won't get a third chance EVER!!!!!!!

Not a good buy
I purchased this mop recently to clean primarily my wood and laminate floors. The problem is that super absorbent pads are recommended to be used 1 time for large area or 2-3 for smaller. Well, I searched internet and Sharper Image webside and you can't buy them anywhere ! What is the point ! Also , device does not have on/off switch and cord could be a little longer .

Good But Not For My Needs
I've resisted getting a steamer for years because I've read mixed reviews about using them on wood floors and laminate. I finally broke down and ordered this unit because of the good reviews. It did a good job of steam cleaning the floors but they dried cloudy and I had to get out a microfiber mop and scrub over them again. Since I don't have children crawling on the floors, having them steam cleaned isn't as important to me than just clean and shiny. I guess I'm sticking with a manual microfiber mop.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing..did i say LOVE?
very easy to assemble and plug in and go...starts steaming within 20 seconds and sanitizes and cleans up stuff on my floor i would otherwise have to get on my hands and knees and clean...cleans gunk that spilled and was sitting there for god knows how long when i moved my fridge...and its the first hour i was playing with it...my mop and bucket is now going to the garbage...im hooked!!

Fantastic mop!
Oh my gosh i got my mop today and i love it!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic steam. I bought a mop off tv a few years back the shark, it was terrible hardily no steam and you had to work it hard to get any steam.
This sharper image mop is the best i have seen and it steams so good it looks like it is on fire so much steam. cant wait to order xtra pads to have on hand. I just told my daughter in law to get one of these. I love it so much!!!!!!!!!!
The sharper image always has nice stuff.
Geepers it makes me want to get up and clean.. Cleaning should be fun and this makes it fun.

Wanted to love it!
I looked at several models before deciding on this one and I wanted to love it - but I am going to have to send it back. I found it very hard to push and use. The steam is fine but by the time I was done mopping I was worn out. The idea is to make the job easier. ALso you have to hand wash the pads. The idea is also to keep your hands out of mess and then you have to hand wash the pads. I was disappointed. Sorry

I love this mop!!!!!!!!!!!
This mop is the best steam mop out there .When this came to me yesterday my daughter was like mom are you ever going to put that thing down.I was amazed at how easy it removed stains on my floor.I love the way the steam comes out evenly.I will be ordering another for my other house.Thank you QVC for delivering quality products this is a keeper.

lots of steam
I have purchased and used many floor steamers. Most leave too much water or break down in a short period of time. This one puts out lots of steam but dries quickly which I like for my hardwood floors. I have used it several times and so far it is one of the best. The cord could be a bit longer and I can't seem to find the SAP pads on QVC.com but otherwise I would recommend it.

Amazing!
For years we have not been able to get our vinyl floor in our kitchen clean no matter what mop, chemicals, or amount of scrubbing we would do. I saw this product demo'd on QVC and thought we would give it a try. It works as advertised and demonstrated! It was easy to setup and easily slides across our floor and makes absolutely no noise. It made our floor look brand new, with no chemicals, only steam! My only complaint is that it left a dull finish. However, after finishing, I did a quick once over with a mop and a natural floor cleaner that restored the shine. I highly recommend this product. Thanks QVC!
