V28136 - Deco Wrap Classic Set of 2 No-Sew Cornices w/ Easy Patterns
PLEASE BRING THESE BACK!! For someone who doesn't sew, this made it so easy to design my own window coverings... But I need more, I have more windows and more ideas to complete the look!
I bought these to make window treatments for odd sized windows. They are easy to shorten. I just marked where they needed to be cut, and used my electric carving knife to cut it. You can also connect two together for a longer cornice. I've used them in my laundry room, Upstairs bathroom and on the window on the landing at the bottom of my staircase. I always get compliments on them.
Inexpensive Professional Window Treatments!
I have had so much fun with these cornices, I have them in three different rooms in my home. No worry when you re-decorate, just pull out the fabric and add new-- use placemats, table runners, sheets, pillowcases, fabric remnants, wallpaper, whatever! Love all the ideas in the PDF file, too, make sure you click on that from the QVC website. The person who invented these is a genius! Save MONEY$$$$$ with these! (Hey, I sew, but who needs to with these?)
I never had made my own valances but these made it so easy. I got to be ceative with the cornices. I used wallpaper in one and my friends cannt believe it! They call me Susie home maker!
I didn't really expect these to work but thought I'd try them for the price. I loved them! What a riot, I used them in my bedroom and had great fun picking out the fabric. I added a flower on each side to dress it up a little. They're great.
What about bay windows
I absolutely love these cornices, but I do have bay windows that these cornices cannot adapt too. When will adjusting corner pieces be available?
THANK GOODNESS I GOT THE LAST FEW!!
I ORDERED 2 SETS OF THEM. I AM SO EXCITED TO USE THEM. WHAT A GREAT CONCEPT. HOPE QVC YOU CAN GET MORE OF THESE!!
Easy as they say
Yes, easy. And cut to size with bread knife or electric knife. I even mitred corners. Just be sure not to peirce a wire in the wall with the pins. That was a
$300. electician bill! Pins do hold it in the wall securely. A little fabric and you are in business!!
I love this cornice! We built a new home and I glued two together for the large window and found the perfect fabric. All toll it took me about 30 min. to glue them, wrap, tuck, twist and hang. Everyone who sees this thinks it is a professionally made cornice. I'm almost ready to do a few more windows. You will love it!
Wow. This is so easy, I couldn't believe it. I ordered two bedspreads, used one on my bed and cut up the other to cover these cornices. Covering and hanging took 30 minutes start to finish. I asked my husband to help me, but I could have done it myself. Now I have an ensemble that looks much more expensive than it was!
I bought these with great expectations, but it just did not work. I hung them in our bedroom and all we saw when we walked in our bedroom was these fat cornices! They just did not work. They should have made the brackets closer to the wall so they can sit closer to the wall, and speaking of the brackets, they put huge holes in our molding! A friend suggested I should have taped velcro to the back of them and saved my moldings, too late!. Back they went. I wish they had more style to them, some carving in the middle, they are too straight. Oh well. I hope they come up with a new style and I will try again!
Love It But...
I was looking for something for my windows to make them look complete after I hung blinds. When I saw this product I knew it was just what I was looking for. I immediately ordered several for the eight windows in my home. They were easy to install and I really like them up. However I would like to make some suggestions to the manufactuer. One the wrap base does not lay flesh against the wall. If the P screw could be an inch or so shorter would allow the wrap to lay flesh to the wall without the gap. Secondly the foam wrap looks rather cheap. I like them but something about them seems to not have the style that I thought it would have. Again I have hung the wraps and really like the way they have turned out but these are the suggestions I would make for improvment.
