V26411 - Shark 800 Watt Travel Iron and Garment Steamer
Good little steamer
I love this steamer. Ordered another one. But the "legs" are not sturdy. Both "legs" broke when the iron fell over but I still love it.
nice travel piece
This is a nice travel iron and the steamer works pretty darn good in mine. It's a keeper.
I love this little steamer. The amount of steam that comes out of it is unbelievable!! With just one filling of water, I was able to steam 5 articles of clothing. It does a great job so quickly. I will never have to iron again. One of the articles that I steamed was a top that I got from a mail order and it was so wrinkled from being folded up. It now looks like it was pressed professionally! It is a great product and a dream to use! Thank you QVC and Shark!
I bought this mainly to cruise with. LOVE IT!!! It works as a steamer and as an iron. Works on even my most wrinkled clothes. Great to travel with.
This is the best little iron! My daughter has the small Rowenta steamer. We used it on a recent trip to Texas. It worked ok but I like Euro Pro products,so I thought I would try this steamer.I am so glad I did,I bought it for my motorhome, but I am using it in the house.I put my big Rowenta iron away.Buy this iron/steamer,You will love it.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
I read the other reviews before I purchased this item - and purchased it with confidence. Evidently, you get what you pay for. The steam function does not work on this iron - in iron or garment steamer mode. The dry iron feature works great - but who wants to dry iron? I bought this product mainly for the garment steamer feature...but the steam spits and sputters and doesn't work properly when trying to steam a garment - not even close. I will buy other products from QVC - as I am usually a very satisfied customer - but I am sending this back TODAY.
Great little iron
I love this little iron. I bought it to take on a recent trip, but tried it out first on the new curtains I had put up. It took the wrinkles right out while they were already hanging. Be careful when you travel with it though. It went through the TSA security and they broke it while examining my suitcase. If you travel with it, be sure you take it apart so they wont have to. They broke the little plastic clip that holds the attachment on.
GREAT LITTLE STEAMER/IRON
I live in a small Manhattan apt, where a full size ironing board is out of the question. The only size I could use is one of those table top ironing boards, and with tha in mindt, my full size iron takes up a large amount of space on the table top ironing board, leaving less room for me to position the garment when I am not using the iron.
I first took my dress/business suit out of the dryer using one of those self "dry cleaning" kits. Of course the suit came out totally wrinkled. I decided to use the garmet brush and use the iron as a steamer. Not only did it get out every wrinkle in record time, but because of the lint brush, I didn't have to put a towel over the wool/silk suit before steaming/iron, to prevent material shine.
I then tried the steam iron on a 100% cotten dress shirt using heavy spray starch (I love my shirts very crisp). Not only was it quick as a regular steam iron, but no starch sticking nor drag. Normally, even with my regular size iron, I would have to spray the 100% cotton dress shirt with the iron's water spritzer or use a spray bottle and then use the steam iron. But with this little work horse, no need to spray with any water, just press down on the steam function and volia, no wrinkles and perfectly pressed in record time.
I really don't think I will be using my large, heavy (and very expensive) steam iron on any ironing.
BTW I used the steamer function on my pillows and bedding to get rid of any dust mites. It freshened up my pillows in seconds the stream of steam is so powerful, I could see steam coming out of the other side of the pillow.
Defintely one of the best things I have bought on QVC. I am one happy camper.
