FlashPad 2.0 Touchscreen Handheld Game with Light & Sound
Bought for my granddaughter
Great challenging game for children. Good for grandparents to have for grandchildren to play.
FlashPad 2.0 Touchscreen Handheld Game
This product is awesome. Bought in 2012 and still going strong today. Our granddaughter, now 7, still picks up the game every time she is at our house. She plays alone or will strike up a match game with Grandma. We laugh and have hours of fun. When asked the question, "who would this be a perfect gift for?" There needs to be a "anyone" selection; it is great for young and old alike!!!!!
I bought this and it sits in the living room, everyone that walks in plays with it. My son and I ended up in a competition with one of the games. I really like this, it's very entertaining and challenging.
Last night thought I would get the two games ready for giving. It started with the battery compartment having to have a screwdriver for the tiny screws! I let that go and went to the dry run for playing the game and nearly tore my hair out. The instructions are way, way too complicated. I will not give this to my 6 and 7 year old boys. They are going back and that makes me sad.
The FlashPad 2.0 Touchscreen Handheld Game w/ Light & Sound: amazed with the technology of this type of game...however a little disappointed with the option of only 1 color @ the time of my purchase...but the quality, technology of this game is what is more important with me as Christmas gifts for my 2 Nieces...Thank You QVC
NEED BETTER INSTRUCTIONS
I thought I could get some enjoyment from this game and keep my brain active. I'm retired and I can't play the games because the instructions aren't good.
Please place somewhere on QVC better detail instructions how to play these games.
This is my first QVC review. I am NOT satisfied with this purchase. If I had kept the original packaging I would return it. The directions are beyond awful and the battery insertion was difficult for someone my age. The Trace game does not work correctly - it doesn't always pick up your finger movements even when they are correct. I will be more cautious about ordering from QVC in the future as I would not have thought this would have passed QVC standards. The Q does not stand for quality in this case.
I bought 2 of these, for my niece and nephew, to send them for Christmas. Thank god I decided to test it out first, I could not figure out this stupid game - and I am a computer person. The game Chase Me, I hit 1 red light, then NOTHING. Seriously? Nothing but noise and blinking lights that have no rhyme or reason. I cant imagine a 6 year old trying to figure it out. Sending them both back - so I'm out $14.00 return postage. QVC, please put these in the "As Is" pile.
"Can I have one more?"
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Grandson. In January, he called me up and asked me to get him one more, because his Mom and Dad kept playing with it! Everyone in the family LOVES this pad!! So I bought another one for him!
Fun but needs improvements
I bought four of these to give as gifts to a spectrum of ages (6-78). It is being enjoyed by all. However, the directions were difficult to understand for everyone. I had to do a lot of explaining to the oldest person and that shouldn't have been necessary. The instructions are poorly written. Once I provided some assistance the game was easy to play. Also, having to use a screwdriver every time the batteries need to be changed is cumbersome and time consuming. The tiny screw will make it very difficult for the 78 year old to easily replace the batteries and I can guarantee it will cut down on the usage of the game.
First, it was difficult to open battery compartment after I searched the house for a small Phillips head screwdriver. Don't enjoy the games at all. I am so disappointed in this product. And, I bought TWO!! Back they go. Lesson learned.
Lots of fun!
I bought the original for my nephews. I ended up keeping it for myself, but they play it when they visit. My only suggestion would be to do away with the screws on the battery compartment. It's really hard to unscrew and screw it back up. Especially when the batteries go & you have impatient little children waiting to play again.
