My son loved it at 3 and we just got it out this holiday season and he loves it at 4,,,he just turned 4. It's cute. I'd get more than one though. It would be more fun with the longer track.

Kids will love it!
Purchased this for our grandson's birthday. It took minutes to set up the track and insert the batteries (which came with it). This is great quality. The colors are deep and the controller is comfortable to hold for little hands. This Choo Choo runs on the track and on deep pile carpet as well as tiled floors. His birthday was a few weeks ago and the batteries are still running. It is still his 'go to' toy at the moment and has given hours of enjoyment. It is difficult to find a decent size train set. I found locally that for one 'take along train' that was just a couple inches long it was the price of this set including the shipping. So this is a great deal and I would thoroughly recommend this radio controlled train set.

Good train, bad track
I bought this for my 4 yr. old grandson and although the little train worked fine, the track pieces did not lay down flat when fastened together and the train kept "de-railing"; I sent it back. I gave it 4 stars based on the train alone and the fact that you don't need the track for it to run, but if I had to rate the track, I would not give it any stars.

Great train set !!!!
I had been looking for a train set like this for my year old grandson,seem's like they are very hard to find.When I saw this set I was thrilled,I bought it right away.He LOVE'S it !! Very easy set to put together,and it's so cute!! For the money you can't beat it !!!!

Absoloute Fun for All
OK, so I purchased this for my somewhat mature 2 year old grandson and his parents are now using it more than he is. This is "way cool" ! The colors are vibrant, the overall size is great for little hands (and adult hands!), and you can configure that track many ways. The pieces easily snap together, although it's not as easy to disassemble. If you take your time however you should be able take the track sections apart without much of a hassle and set it up for either a figure 8, a circle, an oval and what's even nicer is that the remote control is a 2 button forward and reverse w/ pretty good range. Of course the sweetest of all was the look on my grandson's face when I presented it to him.......Priceless!

Great Train Set
I bought this for my 2 year old grandson because he love trains, so glad the other item I was going to get sold out because this was the best purchase ever for him. The small parts I put away because he still put things in his mouth sometimes. But he plays with this all day, the remote is easy to use. I saw another train set that started with the letter T and the price was outrageous for a 2 year old. This was worth its price in gold for me because my funds were limited this year and I got it before christmas which was great.
QVC you made my christmas with this gift.

Great Fun
My 4 year old nephew received many gifts for Christmas and this is the one he chose to play with all day. It worked great.

THE HIT OF CHRISTMAS AT OUR HOUSE!!!
This was my 3 year old grandson's favorite gift of all! It was a last minute purchase but turned out to be the hit of the day! Easy for him to operate, sturdy and had him smiling from ear to ear!!!

Great fun for young and old!
The train was a gift for a 2 year old but everyone in the family loved it! The little one was able to run the train on the floor without the tracks. It took her about a minute to use the remote. Great gift for a child.

A Big Hit Christmas Morning
I bought this train for my 19 month old and we set it up under the tree Christmas morning. He was SO excited when he saw it. He played with it all morning and didn't even care about opening any other presents. The remote is very simple to use with a forward and backwards button. The trains are all attached and big enough that he was able to put it on the track himself. He also enjoyed taking the train off the tracks and playing with it on the floor. It is a perfect "first train set" for little ones. I'm so happy with this purchase.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS GIFT!!!!~~
My husband and I purchased this train set for our 4-year old grandson! At first I was afraid he was too old for it, but he absolutely LOVES it!!~ He played with it for over 3 hours and only stopped playing when it was time for him to go home. We found no problems with the track, either in assembling or dissassembling, and the cars ran on the track with no problems at all. This is a perfect idea for any little boy you want to have smile ear to ear for Christmas and beyond.
As with any train, the engineer has to learn to keep all wheels on the track!
