FlashPad Touchscreen Electronic Handheld Game w/Light & Sound
Fun for all
Ordered 2 for each set of grandchildren. Still playing with them 2 Christmas's later.
Don't waste your money!
Bought this or some version of it last Xmas for my son. He looked at it a few minutes and put it aside. I picked it up to see what was the problem. Number one it needs batteries so be sure you put the batteries in before gifting. Number two it came with no instructions about the games or of any kind! I and two electrical engineers could not figure out how to play it. Plus there is no volume control. Should some toddler be fascinated by the lights it would become annoying to the adults in the room after a few minutes. It is a piece of junk!! Really QVC you used to do better!!! I would give negative stars if possible . Do not risk this as a XMAS gift. The recipient will be disappointed.
A GREAT GIFT FOR ANYONE!
I sent this to my grandson for his birthday. His dad who is quite up-to-date in the electronics department was very impressed and had never seen anything like it. As for my grandson - it's all he played with and he loved it. Grandma rocks!
Why did I fall for the hype?
When the sales guys were selling this they made out that an adult who likes games would also like this. I don't play electronic games but know that my husband likes to on occasion. Well he hated this - said it was cheaply made, boring and surprised that I had paid so much. There was no way that I was sending it back with the shipping costs (one of the cons of ordering via QVC sometimes), so instead Toys for Tots benefited from it. It definitely is for young young kids not used to playing any electronic games, that age rage and experience will like it!
MY GRANDSON LOVES IT!
Even though my grandson is only 3 he LOVES this game! He can only really play chase me and free me, he has a blast! He tries the multiply game but his fingers are too small. The game challenges eye and hand coordination and concentration, which is great! Don't let the 6 and up hold you back from this wonderful purchase.
I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas and she loves it, and I must admit that I love to play it as well. Very happy with this purchase!
WORST PURCHASE EVER
I bought 5 of these games for all my grandchildren. had to send 3 of them back. On & off button not working, lights would not come on 2 of the games. Please do not buy these they do not work right. Not worth the money.
Fun but needs improvment
My grandmother bought these games for my 2 children (ages 8 and 12). The games themselves are not exactly rocket science. However, the whole family has enjoyed playing the games (mainly because they are fairly mindless).
The two negative comments I have about this game are:
1. There is no score/level keeping method. So you never know if you are doing better or worse each time you play a game.
2. You dont actually have to touch the game board for it to work. Seriously, you can hold your hand just above the pad and the icons will light up.
All in all, I dont know that it was worth close to $50 that my grandmother spent on these toys. Maybe if they had been $10-$15 a piece it would have been a little better.
The best toy ever
I have 6 grand children. I bought 2 of these Flash Pads for the 2 youngest children for Christmas. (Ages 5 and 7. ) The Flash Pad was so popular on Christmas Day with the adults and the children, that I soon ordered more for the rest of the children. The Flash Pad is fun in the car too.
This product is a lot of fun for the whole family!! My son who is 8 got this for xmas and takes it with him wherever we go. I have to return it for an exchange because the power button messed up on it about a week after he had it.
Bought this for my grandkids for christmas 2012. It was a favorate for sure. Downside was turning it off. The on/off button is broken. Can't shut it off. Not too good for battery life.
For Christmas I bought 2 of these for my 2 youngest grandchildren (brother & sister) ages 8 and 9. Wanted to make sure they wouldn't fight over the game. They loved the game. The adults were so busy playing also.
