I bought this for my 10 yr old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. I have never used a sewing machine and don't wish to learn (sorry). So I'm glad the book was simple enough for her read, understand and thread the machine herself. She still uses it weekly. It is excellant quality and she will be able to use it for many years.

I had this sent to my 8 yr old granddaughter. It arrived ahead of schedule too. Thanks QVC for being dependable! She loved it. My daughter said the only complaint she had was she had wished it came with thread, measuring tape, etc. I had ordered a cheaper one from another source at first, and it was a piece of junk, and sent it right back. Don't waste your money on those cheaper ones, it is a waste of time, and money. This works for a child (her mom sewed a seam in her own pants as well). My granddaughter made a pillow for her new doll, and is making a skirt for her now!

Great Sewing Machine!
Just starting my 9 yr old granddaughter with sewing lessons, this is a great machine. The book with lessons is just excellent, too! I like that it is electric, and doesn't run on batteries. It is light weight, and sews at a medium speed. The price is just great also. Thanks for this terrific product from a well-known company!
