I DIDDO the previous responder.....YES These were without a doubt the worst steaks I've ever had. They were extremely tough and took forever to chew. Were perfect portion size for my daughter and I for dinner...but unfortunately these were a HUGE waste of money

Don't waste your money!!
These were without a doubt the worst steaks I've ever had. They were extremely tough and took forever to chew. My daughter is an excellent cook and even with a meat tenderizer couldn't make these taste good. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the potatoes were pretty good. By far the worst QVC purchase I've ever made. Except for some of the seafood, I'm done purchasing food through the mail. Really...these are a HUGE waste of money!!!!

Disappointed
I have ordered several set of Kansas City steaks, (filets and Heart Assoc. sirloins) and these are very disappointing. Two stars for the potatoes, they are pretty good, but the steaks are tough and stringy. I will use these in the crockpot for stew meat.

Not Satisfied
I have been ordering Kansas City filet mignon steaks for years and have been so pleased with them. I ordered these and am so disappointed, they are very tough and stringy where the filets are so tender you can cut with a fork. These have been a waste of my money, I will go back to the Filets.

I thought these steaks might not be tender - but I was wrong. Can't be cut with a fork but plenty tender and very juicy when not overcooked.
Love the potatoes as well.

Delicious
I had not ordered steaks online before I made this purchase, but we've had the beef tenderloin roast the last two years for Christmas so decided to give these a try. I seared them in my grill pan and seasoned with cracked pepper and sea salt, following the directions in the Gourmet Guide. These were the best steaks I've had in years. Having grown up on a farm and knowing the taste of fresh beef, I was impressed at how fresh and flavorful and juicy they were. Yes, they are on the small side, but health-wise, we should not be eating cuts that are larger than the palm of our hand anyway. The potatoes are great even on their own--try packing one for lunch on work days--they are very filling.

Excellent!!
Potatoes and great and steaks are really good when cooked properly. Having 4 steak meals for two, plus the additional potatoes we felt was a great deal. Can't go out to a nice steak dinner ONE time for this price.
Something to note about the size comments:
The size is 5oz as stated and they are small as a result. Keep in mind that most restaurants serve 8 plus ounce steaks and these won't match that in size.

happy with purchase
I had never ordered any food products from QVC, and was slightly weary of doing so. Once talking to the operator and being told I could return if I did not like it,
I decided to take a chance. The steaks were perfect for me, I can't eat a lot and a 5 oz steak is the perfect size for 1.
The twice baked potatoes were fabulous! I just wish that QVC would sell just the potatoes. They are so big they can
easily be substituted for a meal in itself.
QVC, please please offer the potatoes as a seperate purchase!

GOOD, TASTY.... BUT
The steaks were good & tasty but a lot smaller than I thought. I under estimated what 5 ounces cooked really looked like. I cooked it exactly as instructed & used the seasoning packet enclosed. The steaks were juicy but I didn't like the seasoning. Next time I'll season it my way. The baked potatoes were delicious!

Not as expected
These steaks look so large & juicy in the presentation I was disappointed when I got them.
They are small & looked like they once were full size steaks but got cut in half.
They were all different sizes & thickness's, one was shaped like a triangle.
I cooked them just right but still were not juicy even after letting them rest. I gave 3 stars because I liked the potatoes.

OUTSTANDING
I have purchased steaks and baked potatoes from another well know company and I must say Kansas City's stakes were tender had a better taste. The baked potatoe tasted like it was a fresh potatoe not frozen and was much bigger then the other company's.
Can't beat the price, I will purchase these steaks and potatoes again.

Very Small Steaks
The steaks are so small! I thought I was delivered the wrong product
because two steaks are wrapped in one package
so you only get four steak packages. I cooked one
package of the steaks; they were a bit tough, even
though I cooked rare. Next time I will marinate before
cooking. Nothing special about the potatoes would rather
have a fresh one, the bacon flavor was too strong for me.
I would not order this again or recommend it
