Inedible
I too was longing for sweet soft shell crab. I made the mistake of not trying them until a month after receiving them, so no refund for me. Second mistake was buying the larger box.
I followed the cooking directions, plus tried several other ways to cook, however all attempts were inedible and the entire box had to be put into the trash. Tough outer shell, meat was mostly water, fishy smelling and certainly void of any crab flavor what so ever. So disappointed that this product was not tested before putting them on air. I love many of QVC's items, but will never again order any food products due to this huge waste of money.

First & Last Time!
Every summer I treat myself to a soft shell crab dinner which costs me approximately $30 down at the "Jersey Shore."(where you get 2 crabs) So I thought this would save me a lot of money & I would get several dinners with 24. I tried them today & I agree with other reviewers about the "fishy" smell. I also rinsed them off. Still bothered me. Prepared as recommended, but I thought they were salty . I won't eat them. In the trash they went. It looks so mouthwatering on TV that you want to try the food. I have to say most of my experience with food items has been great!
Customer service was great about it, as it was an expensive purchase, but they stood behind their claim of a full refund & I appreciate that as a customer for 23 years! Thanks,QVC

Very disappointed
I love soft shelled crabs and was very excited to order and receive these. The crabs were a big disappointment. They were very tiny and were not anywhere near "jumbo." When defrosted they had a very fishy odor and most of the legs fell off. They did not taste very good either. On every level a huge disappointment. QVC did not deliver what they promised.

Almost cried as I tossed them in the trash !
As a life-long soft shell crab lover, I was so eager to receive this order.
Opened the box to a very "fishy" odor...not a good sign. Defrosted 4 in the refrigerator and they smelled up the entire fridge...even after rinsing them prior to defrosting.
Soaked them in milk, lightly dredged in a flour, salt & pepper mixture and sauteed in butter w/ juice of a lemon...looked perfect but were too "fishy" to eat...could not shake that odor and taste. Had to trash them...QVC's Customer Service rep. was so nice about my complaint call...took care of the refund and was very understanding. Have not seen this complaint come up on line yet, but I can not be the only disappointed crab lover.

Small Soft Shell Crabs to be Jumbo Soft Shell Crab
The soft shell crabs were to small to be jumbos. I purchased my soft shell crabs at another location and they are way bigger than the ones that I purchase from QVC. These are not jumbos soft shell crabs that I had purchase from QVC. I measure some of the soft shell crabs and some of them were 4 inches to 41/2 inches, not 5 inches to 51/2 inches. Some of them were 5 inches. Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend if they like their soft shell crabs small. If you go online at Linton's seafood, their jumbo soft shell crabs are 51/2 inches to 6 inches. And I love soft shell crabs. My friend said the ones that I had order at another place were bigger than the ones that I had order from QVC. He just laugh. Also, the soft shell crabs were packed real good and neat in the box.

Tiny crabs
My husband could not stop laughing, these crabs were very small,tiny woul be a better word.I've eaten many soft shell crabs and never saw crabs as small as these.None of them were jumbo.

10 STARS....FABOULOUSO...LOVE, LOVE...!!!!!!!!!!!!
These softshell crabs are soooo easy to make...thaw, dip in milk, dredge in flour, add olive oil to frying pan with salted butter and a couple slivers of garlic...yummy. I do on a medium heat about 4 minutes on eiter sides until golden brown. OMG....Y U M M Y!!!

Tough Shells
Cooked up several crabs for my friends at lunch. These crabs had a very tough outside shell.Hard to chew. Had to trim most of the shell off. Also the box has small crabs mixed in with jumbo crabs. Packaged every other crab jumbo. Very disappointed.

Soft Shell Crabs
They were delivered nicely packed and completely frozen. Fried a few up for dinner and they were delicious! Descent size too.

Good stuff
Made these last night in a garlic, wine and butter sauce. They were delicious and meaty. Only 4 stars as they are not jumbo in my book but still great.
