The coffee cakes were moist and delicious but they left a burnt taste in my mouth because the outside of the cakes were dark.

One of the best coffee cakes ever!!
My family & I enjoyed these cakes so much!! They sure didn't last long because we had them with breakfast & dessert. The lemon/blueberry was my favorite, it was perfect & I'm glad I listened to my intuition this time around instead of some of the reviews. I will definitely be ordering these again!!

Delicious and So Moist!
This cake was the PERFECT consistency just melted in my mouth!! I love the combination of flavors and how fresh the cake tasted!!! I would definitely recommend this cake to anyone, its amazing!!!

RAVE REVIEWS
I ordered this item as a gift to a family member. They called with rave reviews. I have ordered the Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cakes for myself and other family members many times. They are ALWAYS met with rave reviews. The cakes are so moist and delicious. They freeze easily and come back out of the freezer just as nice as when they went in. GREAT product. I would serve this to company anytime.

Lemon Blueberry not good!
I have had My Grandma's coffee cakes before and I love them. I was anxious to try the new Lemon Blueberry. What a disaster! Like another reviewer said, mine was also sort of soggy and uncooked. It literally broke in half and fell apart when I cut it. It was like the top layer was falling off the bottom layer! I wasn't even able to use it. The Cinn. was very good as always. I would stick with that one and forget the Blueberry!

I agree with the reviewer about the lemon taste. It had a slight chemical taste. I and my family still enjoyed the cake. The other cakes that have ordered from Grandmas have been super and I will continue to order this product; just not the blueberry/lemon.

Fake lemon pudding taste
Yuck! I love all the other flavors of cake but this lemon blueberry is truly awful. The walnut cinn. was excellwnt as always but the lemon blueberry taste like instant lemon pie filling or pudding plus it was all soggy and wet on top. thank goodness the other cinnamon walnut cake was wonderful as usual!

Great gift!
We received these at Christmas as a gift from far-flung family. We shared one of the cakes with neighbors and the other, with family on Christmas morning. Everyone raved about how flavorful and moist the cakes were. And when it comes to holiday time, everyone could use a little help with practical foods you can use for family breakfasts and brunches, as well as to serve with afternoon coffee/tea for both expected and unexpected guests. We liked it so much, we've sent it to others as well. My Grandma's is a definite hit!

VERY MOIST AND GOOD
Well packaged, but lemon blueberry breaking apart, perhaps these need to be in a tin? Lemon blueberry light lemon flavor, haven't tried the cinnamon walnut yet, but have had it from local grocery store before that doesn't carry anymore, maybe because of the price?? At store they were about 12.00, so this is a hefty price, but it's not a wimpy cake. Enjoyable, VERY moist, good with milk! Maybe breaking apart on one side because it's so moist. Wouldn't complain, it breaks apart anyway on the way down! :)
