Disappointing Bought this in plum in 2011. It is still alive but has not grown any larger than when it was received. It gets two roses at one time, that's all. Not worth the price paid. 04-16-13
Twice a failure but will try again Ordered it last year planted on the ground nothing happened to it still a stick got a replacement and planted it in the pot and the same thing nothing happened to it. All planted by my gardener and even put a flower magic once a week. I do not know if the ones I got are dead upon arrival. But I will try to order it again because I like the color of purple roses. And I will only recommend it to a friend IF my next order becomes successfull with flowers as advertised . 03-19-13
AWESOME Results from a NON green thumb!! I am thrilled with these. I have 2. Both have been in ground for just a few weeks and they are amazing! I have 15 roses on one and 17 on the other. I did not read my guide (am ashamed to admit), so forget any careful prep or planting. Just dug a hole, added a bit of bagged potting soil, watered and whispered "good luck". They came in with leaves and buds well ahead of predicted 4-6 weeks (have since studied the guide). I do reccomend stakingg unless out of way of wind. We had a bad storm that blew one into severe tilt. Sstaked it and all is well. I will say, I have 3 total of tree roses and 8 of roses that shipped as bare roots from Cottage farms. They have all done beautifully. Other than fertilizer in potting soil I add to hole in ground, I just let them grow after planting (other than water a bit) and they are ALWAYS blooming. I did order a set of roses that came in pots . They were failures. CF replaced this season. They are tiny (3 inches, or less each) and have been in ground longer than trees with no blooms. . I knowt it seems counterintuitive that bare root plants (which were more intimidating to me) would be easier than the potted rose plants, but the bare root products havee performed for me in each of last 3 seasons and have gifted them with success too. Less luck with potted varieties!Am in southern florida if that is helpful to know. Give the trees and other CF bare root roses a try. You will have success!!! It did not take me special skill or work. 05-01-12
So far so good I'm holding back on my star rating because the tree hasn't fully produced yet. I originally ordered the plum pucker and the mardi gras tree. The mardi gras tree arrived damaged, and QVC quickly refunded my money. The plum pucker tree arrived just fine and is already producing foliage in a small topiary look with about 10 small buds so far. Looking forward to the blooms. 04-16-12
