So disappointing- PEELING FINISH
I am so disappointed in these chairs. They looked terrific after assembly and were comfortable. But shortly after the chairs were sitting outside on the deck, the paint began bubbling and peeling. They look horrible! So, they are definitely going back.
My purchases from QVC have always been top quality....this product is a very poor product and I will never order anything made by Plow and Hearth again!

worst chairs I've ever purchased
First of all I relied on the mfgrs name as being a reputable company so I purchased two of the chairs...I was disappointed when I rec'd them to find one of the chairs was cracked on the underside of the seat...since it's such a pain to return items like these, my son being a handy person said he could fix chair & it wouldn't show so I agreed to keep them....Unfortunately after a week or so outside I noticed the paint on the front of the chair was starting to bubble & crack off.....the arm on the other chair had raised paint as well...can't believe what they would look like after a season outside....terrible purchase, I definitely will be returning these....

My Worst Purchase Ever
Purchased four in red at the beginning of the season. The all weather is missleading, as they sat outside for four weeks as the paint started to peel. Several of the slates are splintering and breaking, while the chain and bolt that keeps the chair from folding is rusting.

Well Made and Easy to Assemble
I bought this in white to go along with some white wooden benches in my back yard. It only took me about 1 1/2 hrs to unpack and assemble it. It looks beautiful and is very comfortable to sit in. It seems to be a high quality item, as have other products that I have purchased by this same brand. I don't think it is at all flimsy, yet it isn't too heavy to make it difficult to move around. I haven't gotten the ottoman part yet, but that's next on my list.
