LOVE THIS FOUNTAIN!
I ordered this fountain last summer to place on my deck, which gets full sun all afternoon. The only time the water doesn't run is when a cloud passes by. Not a problem in my book. Once the cloud passes by, the fountain starts running again. I love it! For those people who say its a piece of junk or unhappy because it stops running for a few minutes during the day, I say you didn't read the description information. It clearly states that you need direct sunshine. I also think its very attractive and well made. I'd buy it again!!

Love, Love, Love
Love this solar fountain. Have tried a couple of fountains but this is the only one that did not fail. As long as the sun is shinning this fountain has worked well.
If you are thinking of buying it do not hesitate. You will be pleasantly pleased. We have had nothing but compliments.

Does what it says
When this item says it is a "solar fountain", they are not kidding. It works when the sun is directly overhead. As others have mentioned, if so much as a cloud passes by or you walk past it, it will stop briefly. They do not falsely advertise, however, and that is precisely what it says it is, so don't expect it to work in the dark or even once the sun starts to wane. As of this writing, mine works for about 6 hours a day (Phoenix). Once the sun starts to go down (about 3:30) it stops. I have no complailnts however, as I knew what to expect. I think during the summer when the sun stays in the yard and passes more directly over where it is situated, it will run longer. I just received it 3 weeks ago (in January).
It is well made, I did not want to deal with a cord, and overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Fantasic Fountain
Love this fountain!! I live in a mobil home park and I don't have a large area, this worked perfect and all my neighbors just love. It was is easy to to assemble and works like a dream.

Not worth a one star rating!
I bought this in March when we did not have the best of weather and I thought the panel could not get sufficient 'charge'. However that is not the case at all. unless you have FULL CONSTANT sunlight (without a SINGLE cloud hovering near the sun) this is an on again off again piece of junk. If you like the smell of stagnate water then it's a must have. Unfortunately for us the 30 day period window closed so I turned my lemon into the most expensive planter ever!!! Total cost/loss $144.00

this fountain is more like a statue, it doesn't run way more than it runs. Gone back!

Looks better in person!
This is my favorite fountain. I can't get over how lovely it looks in my yard. I previously had another fountain from QVC but my cat kept sitting on it and he eventually knocked it over and it broke. I was so disappointed and wasn't sure about this one but figured he couldn't knock it over. Well he isn't even tempted to sit on it and I actually like it better than the previous one!

LOVELY
Lovely fountain & a perfect addition to my deck. It looks very nice & is very relaxing. I have 2 other solar fountains but this one is my favorite. The only way it could be better is if it had smart solar and I could run it at night!

Some much beauty but lacking key function
This fountain will not work unless in direct sunlight like I mean the flat surface of the fountain must almost be directly pointed or 45 degrees minimum at the sun. Also, this unit does not store energy either., so if you have sun then it runs. I have a small 5 ft dogwood tree beside it and the leaves blocking the sun will stop it. Too bad such a nice looking fountain will only work in the hot of the day. Someone called in during show and said they could not wait to hear it bubbling at night while sitting on their porch. The host or vendor did not tell them good luck with that! But never fear. I went to a home improvement store and spent another $25 on a fountain electric pump... Yes, NOW I can enjoy the bubbling 24/7 but I will put a timer on it.. Now I have a nice fountain... Smart Solar you should give an optional electric pump to buyers.

Disappointed
I love the structure of the fountain and the easy with which it sets up. But, there's only enjoyment of the trickling water when the sun is out. There should be solar storage just as in the lights I have around my house.

Really NIce !!!!!
I bought this fountain 3yrs ago & it's still going strong. I really love to hear the trickling water .I've found that the birds really like it too. Every evening we watch the birds come for a drink while we have dinner.It's very weighty & is very stable during heavy rain storms.I do have to fill it every day in hot weather though, but not a problem. Still love it every day!!!!! Great for a patio,deck or garden!! Thanks QVC for finding this product!!!

Perfect Fountain For Our Deck!
We received this fountain a few weeks ago and I LOVE it. Yes, you need direct sunlight for it to work, but it's pretty even on the cloudy days. The water is so peaceful when it's running and it is the perfect addition to our deck. We clean it out every week a d it works perfectly!
