Yonanas Healthy Frozen Treat Maker with Recipe Book and Scoop
Best thing since sliced bread. We make yummy frozen desserts (ice cream) almost every night. My favorite is bananas and peaches. Would recommend to all families who want to replace regular ice cream with this... Taste good and its healthy too!!

Not Worth It!
It all looks so easy and fun on TV bit it is a real pain to use. First of all, the prep time alone (freezing bananas) and then defrosting the fruit before use is aggravating. Everything has a banana taste, regardless of what fruit you use. I thin we will stick to our local frozen yogurt shop or gelato stand. This machine is on its way back.
Love my YONANAS
I've constantly been throwing out bananas, because no matter how green I buy them, they over ripen in no time. This machine has addressed my brown bananas and the fact that I am lactose intolerant and cannot eat ice cream. Love the consistency of the
fruits that I've used and the ease of use and clean-up.
Price of Junk
It's going back - my Cuisnart food processor does a much better job.
What a great treat!
I was skeptical about how this would work, but, I received the Yonanas machine night before last and tried it out yesterday afternoon. I used 1/2 banana, 1 small orange, and about 3/4 cup of fresh pineapple that I had in the freezer for smoothies. I mixed in 1/4 tsp. coconut extract and a little sugar free sweetener. Wow! I had a really refreshing tropical treat. It make a BIG bowl full, just with that amount of fruit. The only thing I would change is how far the chute sticks out that the frozen mixture comes out of. It seems a little close, and I had to be careful to keep the bowl close to the machine. No complaints otherwise.
It didn't work for me...
I saw this product when David Venable was on the Bethenny Show. I was anxious to try it. I realize it's called "Yonanas" and particularly features bananas.....Even though the recipe book calls for a variety of fruits, for me it worked better with only bananas and I don't think I want to use bananas every time I make a sorbet. I also did not care for the consistency of the resulting product. This may work for some people but it's not for me, I returned it. I have a Ninja Storm that I use every single day and can make shakes and sorbets and love, love, love it, so I will continue to use my Ninja.
I am a gym junkie who loves to eat healthy and nutrious so when i saw this machine on tv i went crazy for it. I coudn't wait to get it. The machine is cute but its loud and its too much work for a little bowl of yogurt. The bananas didn't come out smooth and neither were the other pieces of fruit. I wished that it worked like on tv. I would not recommended it to any of the friends. Very sad indeed.
I enjoy using this machine but I catch myself comparing it to my 2 Ninja's. It just doesn't hold up to the comparison. I do like this machine but also agree that it gets very messy when using bananas. I like using frozen peaches, etc.
Just got this today and made a very simple frozen banana and strawberry dessert. No sugar, no additives ... nothing but healthy natural fruit. Another bonus was 0 points on Weight Watchers + plan. I've seen people complain that there is too much stuff left "inside" the machine when you are done making the dessert. Well, then, just open it up, take it apart and scoop out what's in there into your dish. Cleanup was simple. Can't wait to try all the recipes in the book. Highly recommend this product :-)
We weren't sure about this when we bought it because we originally wanted an ice-cream maker. BOY!! Were we surprised.Happily so. This is a terrific purchase. The frozen treats we get from the Yonanas are just GREAT.If I could,I would buy one for the whole family!!
Great for summer
Just used this for the first time today-AWESOME,will use this everyday, never do I write a review but had to with this-love it!
