Healthy food fast
Really love this little cooker. This size can cook a 2- 2.5 lb roast tender enough to cut with a fork. Pressure cook potatoes in less than 10 minutes. Flavor infuse your veggies! Do get a cookbook to use with this to get the most out of it, but almost any recipe can be converted to work with a pressure cooker. Even unsoaked beans can be cooked up tasty and tender in under an hour. Anyone with a large family should opt for a larger pot. This one is good for a family of 3 or 4 if there are two small children.

Great Little Cooker
Purchased this pressure cooker a couple of months ago and really like the way it cooks things. Have made both a pot roast and a pork roast and both were very tender and juicy. Only regret is that I wish the cooker was a little larger in size.

great size limited timer
The size of this pressure cooker is great but has minimal limited time possible to set the timer for thus limits its total uses as many other pressure cookers. I bought this for my granddaughter but was unhappy to find its timer was not like my other qvc pressure cookers.

Timer can not go below 5 minutes.
This is very small, I would be concerned with fluids being sucked up through the valve when releasing pressure on soups.
The reason I returned mine was that the timer does not allow you to set time under five minutes. There are many vegetables that require a less than 5 minute cooking time.

Easy cooking!
I love this pressure cooker. To me, its size is very convenient, it is easy to operate and the results are delicious. Be sure to read the manual and follow the first step before cooking your first meal. If you do that, you will see that it is easy and with no "metal" flavor at all, as some previos reviews have stated. I have been cooking with pressure cooker all my life and I am very pleased with this one.

It didn't work
It wouldn't work. It came up with an error message, so back it goes. I will give it one more try. It looks like a great size for 1 person.

Like this smaller size very much.
Although I have a couple of larger pressure cookers when I saw this small one I thought it would be good for when I wanted to make smaller portions. I've used it several times and really like it. It came with quite a few recipe cards so from those I could get an idea of how to
prepare different dishes and time them. Actually I think I'll get more use from this smaller cooker than I will from my larger ones.

Really like this product...
I purchased this product and couldn't wait to try it. I made a 2lb corned beef and cabbage recipe and it was extremely tender. I knew that it was small when I purchased and wish that it was a 5 quart instead of 3.5 but I can live with it!!! I think it's important to purchase the cookbook too.

too small
returned it without trying to use it. It was much smaller than I thought it would be. My rice cooker holds more than this would. Seeing everything that was taken out of it on TV made it look like it would hold more.

Nice Size
Yes the instructions are a little rough to understand and it's more like a rice cooker but I used it today and made a pot roast and it was fabulous!! Love the smaller size and it was perfect for four or two servings and clean up was easy. I have a huge electric pressure cooker and two stove top pressure cookers so I could figure out how to make it work just fine! No noise and no hissing and no spitting and it only got warm on the outside but I did as instructed and put it on a cutting board to make sure the countertop was protected but it was not necessary. Nice item.

Love this size of the pressure cooker!!!!
I bought the Cook's Essential 5 Qt Stainless Steel pressure cooker last February, and used it several times, when I realize it was just a bit too big for just one person to use. I was so excited when I saw this smaller one, that I ordered it right away, and I just love it. It's just right for one person. Thanks so much!

Good Deal, just hard to learn to use.
This Unit is a good Deal, but you need to practice using it, a lot! With dry beans, cook in pressure cooker for the 1st 30 mins like it said with water only, then add all the rest and cook for another 30 mins. It takes time to learn. This smaller unit is just right for 2-3 people. Makes a nice gift if the giftee is a very good cook already.
