Buy one you will love it!
I have read several of the reviews on this product before I made my purchase.
One of the complaints some people were having was it smoked.
Well, it is a Rotisserie… Right? :-) I just place my Rotisserie in the counter under my vent and presto, NO SMOKE.
It’s a great machine and I have absolutely no complaints.
I say buy one you will love it!

Expect to order more parts!
Although this is a wonderful machine I was disappointed that the giant lobster tray and the wheel for ribs was not included with this unit. I ordered both extra parts for an extra $50 from Ronco and a patio stand and extension cord later on for patio cooking for yet another $140. I am losing weight with all the beautiful fat free meals and loving the food, all in all it was very worth the INVESTMENT. I had no idea how much better food could be with a new type of cooking unit.

Excellent Investment!
I got mine (in silver) back in February and have used it countless times since receiving it. As I'm a rotisserie chicken freak, that's predominantly what I use mine for, but I have used it for pork roast and just chicken breasts made in the basket a few times. It's true what others are saying....it makes the meat taste ooh-la-la wonderful. One suggestion though....when making a whole chicken, be sure to tie the legs and wings up good...and they supply you plenty of string to do that. Clean up is easy...not at all a 'chore' like you'd think from just looking at it. I've owned one of those $79.00 cheapies I got at that big national retailer....this is NO comparison!! Like that vendor always says that sells the electric smoker...."Dagum that's good!!"....that's what I say about my food made in this machine!!!

Would Give 10 Stars!
Hubby saw this on ITKWD last January and told me to order it. I got the stainless steel which i see is not available now. I want this review to be short and sweet. It is easy to use, easy to clean and more importantly, the food is tasty! I have made chicken, pork chops, turkey and roasts. All were juicy and delicious! I figured it would heat up my kitchen but surprisingly it did not so that is another plus. I have had this long enough to give a solid review on it. It does what it is supposed to. If you are on the fence then don't be. If you like good roasted food then this is worth getting.

Not another Kitchen Gadget
This is not another kitchen gadget that will be used a couple of times then put to the side.I use this at least once a week.I'm trying to eat lighter and eating more chicken, turkey , fish. The basket works great for turkey thighs, cod fillets.Whole chickens come out fantastic.Just Tie up the chickens really well ,you'll get good at it after just a few.I think the biggest advice I can give besides tieing up the chicken is to brine the bird overnight in a 6 or 8qt stock pot in the fridge.Just a simplie brine of salt water makes all the difference.I have seen these for years on the infomecials and thought just another gimik ,,, wrong,,, get one you'll love it.

I love love love my new Ronco. I was worried about drying out my roasts but everything I have cooked in it is moist and delicious! Love those easy pays.

Believe It!
I had watched the rotisserie demo for years and always wanted one but figured it couldn't be as easy and nice as it seemed...but I was wrong! It is awesome! I've done chicken, pork and ham and it was super easy and delicious. Cleanup is easy too as you can put the bits in the dishwasher.

Where to start and how to stop. My review, that is.
I'll try to make it short and sweet:
This wonder tool makes roasted chicken better than the chicken you get at Sam's Club and that is not an exaggeration.
Another reviewer said it was better than the roasted chicken at Costco. There are no Costco nearby, so I cant comment on that.
But can we both be wrong ? I say, "No".
In fact, Ron's rotisserie makes roasted chicken that rivals ..... dare I say it ?
My Mom's !! Okay, I said it and it's true ! She's no longer with us but if she
were, do you know what she'd be getting for Christmas ?
Yes, this rotisserie.
Okay, so it makes certifiable world-class chicken.
So how about cleanup afterwards ?
You remove the drip tray, tray cover, rotary device, and back heat shield
and place them in the sink.
Run some hot water and use a green scrunge scrubber. Dry them off.
Run a paper towel around the inside of the rotisserie to remove any grease.
Slip the heat shield back in, put the drip tray/cover back in the bottom
.Place the rotary assembly back inside.
Wipe the cover glass with a paper towel.
DONE. Elapsed time: 10 minutes, tops. Real world time. 10 MINUTES !
BTW: the first few times we cooked with the rotisserie, we opened a window
to keep the smoke detector from going off. It's right by the kitchen door and is EXTREMELY sensitive. Cooking bacon and eggs will set it off, even with the stove exhaust fan on.
But you know what ? We didn't need to.
After several uses we noticed a GREAT thing: no smoke from the rotisserie.,
so we no longer open a window.
That is one of the aspects that makes cleanup very easy.
If you envision having to spend time cleaning soot off the glass from burning
grease, don't worry, you won't.
I'll again mention: our cleanup time is 10 minutes TOPS.
Although I haven't looked, I imagine there are all sorts of forums and blogs
on the internet that have lots of recipes and tips for cooking.
The ONLY concern I have is how long will the heating elements last.
In my opinion, if you properly tie the chicken correctly (which is as easy as
tying your shoes), you'll keep the rotating meat from contacting the burners
I'm sure that this would cause the heating elements to wear out prematurely.
That is easily avoidable.
So, final verdict: GET ONE !
My son and daughter-in-law don't know it yet, but guess what they're getting
for Christmas ? That's right. : ' )

Still Juicy the NEXT day!!!
I always wanted to get a rotisserie because I love the taste of a roasted chicken.
When David was selling this as a 'today's special value', thought why not. When I got the machine, I bought two fresh chickens and seasoned to my taste and WOW!!!
SO GOOD! The meat was STILL TENDER the next day! I read some of the reviews but, you have to follow the weight restriction in order to get the 'right' end result. Super delicious!! Tender and moist but the flavor is amplified when roasted.

GREAT ROTISSERIE
I was lucky and got the stainless steel one. I LOVE this product. I've had to learn how to cook in it properly but m getting better all the time. I've cooked chicken, ribs, steak , fish and pork in it. Everything is SO good! The only downfall to me is that I don't like the clean up. I'm very picky tho and take extra time cleaning the inside and pieces that I used. I had a problem with the unit at first and didn't get good customer service from Ronco...but...a supervisor answered my email to their company and I ended up with outstanding customer service. I would recommend this to everyone!

Every kitchen should have one
I lost my original showtime rotisserie in the flood of 2010, when my whole 1st floor was flooded. When I got my kitchen done the first thing I replaced was my showtime. I have never had a bad meal come out of it. You literally "set it and forget it". Do not hesitate to purchase this product.

OMG! YUM YUM
No wonder this product has so many 5 star reviews. I can't add anything else that someone hasn't already stated. I made the most delicious chicken in it. I honestly don't think I've ever had a more juicy, succulent, mouth watering and tasty chicken in my life. I basted the chicken under the skin with soy sauce and butter and then rubbed the outside of the chicken with the same ingrediants There aren't words in the dictionary to describe how yummy it was. Using this machine for chicken and prime rib alone, is worth every penny you've spent on it.
