Not as expected
This is a larger divided plate. I originally purchased these for lunches for school/work but, these were too big and the main problem was that the divider sections do not go to the top so the food will fall out each compartment and mix together..... Not happy about that. Sadly I returned them.

Can't go wrong with lock & lock
I have just about everything lock & lock makes so when I needed divided plates, I didn't hesitate to order these. Other divided plates are shallow but these are deep enough for lots of food. These are great for single people to cook and freeze meals for later.

OK, But......
I am a big Lock & Lock fan but I don't really like these pieces. They are just too big. I wanted to use these as an individual meal container but they are so big they could feed at least 2 people. They take up a lot of room in the freezer. My other issue with them is that the dividers don't come up all the way so anything that is able to move around will move to the other sections.

These are great
These are Lock & Lock - what more needs to be said? I got them for do-ahead cooking, so I can freeze extra portions. With these plates, the frozen food can go directly to the microwave. I had other divided plates that were microwave-safe, but the lids weren't. These make the process that much easier.

Durable and Substantial
Very durable, just like all the other pieces of L&L. The reasons I deducted a star relates to design. Firstly, if you look at the underside, the spacing in between departments is quite large which takes away from the overall food capacity. Secondly, the height of the divider could be at least 1/4 " taller which would give a greater capacity and more importantly, keep food from spilling over the sides while the plate is being transported to work, school, etc.
Overall, I am very well pleased as the plate is still much better than other brands of divided plates that I have used in the past, all of which have those crazy lids in which one corner magically will not push down.

Good purchase
I'm on the dash diet & need to make everything from scratch. With these containers, I can make several meals at one time. I wish they were a little smaller.

Great plates
My husband takes these to work for leftovers and loves them. The only problem is, they dont fit in a lunch bag. They clean up easy and dont seem to stain. I have alot of Lock & Locks and love them.

Great Idea, but needs improvement
I love Lock & Lock - the quality is great and everything I've bought until now, has been perfect. I love this concept - the quality is still great, but I was so disappointed to see that the dividers do not go all the way up to the top of the container. However, I sent my set back because when I travel and because the dividers don't go all the way to the top of the container, it provides opportunity for spilling over one into the other on the inside. My purpose was to keep things separate while traveling, carrying, etc. I hope that Lock & Lock extends the dividers to the top. I would more than love to buy sets that did just that.

Good for full size meal
Let me tell you how I use these. I have an elderly lady living with me. I fix four meals at one time for her and store them in the lock & lock divider plates. I store them in the fridge and she can chose what time of the day she eats her hot meal (lunch or dinner). When she is ready she gets one of the lock & locks from the fridge and unlocks all 4 sides and places the container in her microwave and presses a predetermined button to heat her meal to just the right temp for her. She absolutely loves the lot meal and exercises more independence choosing when she wants her hot meal. I am sure with the number of reviews asking for dividers to go to the top of the lid for keep contents in each section from mixing that lock & lock will eventually accommodate as well as maybe making a four equal section set. I'd buy both for versatility. Can't say enough about how much the lock & lock products have helped me. Keep more great ideas in style coming.

Love, Love Lock & Lock, through out all of that really expensive plastic, that I never find a vendor to replace the lids cracked bowls when needed. The only thing I wish Lock & Lock would do is on the Divider Plates. I eat a lot of vegetable plate lunches and wish Lock & Lock would make a 4 divider Plate set, like the 3 divider. Think about it, no one has every made a 4 divider plate. I would buy them in every color. I freeze alot of my lunches. it would be PREFECT!!!!!!!

Great product
Love this set! I love the dividers, makes it easy to store a complete meal. There is one thing that keeps me from giving this five stars-I wish that the dividers went all the way to the lid. The way that it's made makes it impossible to carry it any way other than flat. You can't carry it in a bag on its side because the divider walls are not high enough. Higher walls would make it perfect!

A grandma"s helper
I ordered these because of my young grandchildren. A few times a week they have meals with me. I've bought those cute partitioned trays but they aren't deep enough or wide or high enough to serve a decent amount of food in and i have to keep refilling it 2 or 3 times. Also the girls like veggies they can dip along with their pasta or pbj and this solves that problem too. Now i can fill the tray, put the lids on so the food doesn't get cold and the girls can open it themselves.
