Rachael Ray 10-piece Gradient Bubble & Brown Set
nice weight for arthritis sufferers
I had the cooks essentials 18-10 stainless set I bought about 12 years ago. They are still great. However I have fibromyalgia and arthritis so I had difficulty lifting them. These are much lighter weight and easier for me to use.
Great value!! Nothing cheap here. Gradient orange matches my orange Bubble and Brown ovenware and my orange cookware. Make more please...you rock Rachael! Great on easy pay. Love it!!
I Love The Bubble & Brown Set....I ordered it in Orange...I was glad to see that it was on easy pay...I love all of Rachael Ray Items/Collection...Great Quality...Stylish Look...
Beautiful and durable
This is such a beautiful set of stone ware! Everyone from my children to my husband, and even my mother in law complimented me on them. They were gorgeous and we used them to serve items for our Thanksgiving Buffett.
Crushed By Color
I really looked forward to receiving this bakeware as I wanted to switch from metal pans. However I am returning it as the gradient coloring didn't work in my kitchen. If Rachel were to re-release this set in the traditional bubble and brown colors I would reorder it.
Beware of packing
Unless you have the assistance of 3 men and a bull dog, don't order this. It is very difficult to get in to the package itself. Once you get in, they are packed so tight that I had to shred the foam to get it out. I had to yank on the big piece so hard that I dropped the biggest piece. It fell on the carpeting and broke. It is heavy, heavy, heavy, has no lids. I can't return it, because I broke the biggest piece.
Love but need lids
Only Complaint is that, I need lids! Love it other than that!
LOVE LOVE LOVE
I am so glad I splurged on this - I didn't need another set. I already have the bubbling brown in yellow. I wanted it to go with Rachael's cookware I purchased. This is one of the best sets I have seen. I received in the red. It is so beautiful!! I am going to bake a cake in one of them and use the other to bake lasagna. I love Rachael's products!!!!
I love this set! I bought the red. These are my primary bakers. I've used the big dish for a roast chicken and hash brown casserole and find cleaning effortless. I wouldn't use these if I had to scrub or soak before cleaning. I've used the 2 qt baker for brownies, hot dips, and smaller casserole dishes. Fits in my convection oven too! I haven't had any issues with black spots appearing. The handles are great too! I've used the smaller dishes as candy dishes and condiment holders for potlucks at work. Thanks Rachael!
I love this set of baking dishes. My only wish is that they had lids, at least the two large dishes. Rachel, please make and sell the lids separately and I would buy them. These clean up great and the handles are terrific for taking in and out of the oven but without lids it is difficult to store food in these because the handles get in the way. LIds please!
Check before tossing
I do not own these but have looked at in stores. They are very weighty> they appear to be hi fire stoneware bodies> If this is so; the body its self is vitreous and water etc, proof..
To make sure, fill container with water and let stand for about five to ten minutes. The color will darken along the crack if it is not;;. If it is vitreous it is safe to use with proper food container cleaning. So check before tossing. Hi fire is glazed for decorative purposes.
I love 'em...but
I just received this set and I love RR Stone ware. But I wish the bottoms are coated too. I already have the Lasagna Server and the un-coated bottom is stained and looks dirty. I have tried all kinds of ways to scrub it off and still not coming off. The inside though cleans up well. I love the designs and the color selection of RR stoneware. I'm glad that its in solid colors. I'm not into the other name brand, the colors just looks too busy for, just not my thing.
