I use mine for cereal and they work great. The cereal stays very fresh!!

♦ Water Tight ♦
I put these to the test by filling with water and carrying upside down. Not a drop of water leaked. These containers have 4 flaps. I have ones with only 2 flaps that leak when filled with water, especially those with a pour opening. The flaps on these containers are a little difficult to open, but that's okay, because they are doing their job. I purchased these specifically for cereal, and I am very happy with this purchase. ♥Ea♥

Another great set !
Again another great lock and lock product. I ordered the kiwi which is a nice shade of green. Only problem is that I thought they would hold flour and sugar. There are so many lock and lock products that it may have been the cereal keepers where I saw Chris with flour and sugar in the product. But that is no reflection on lock and lock. Considering buying another set for flour and sugar. So instead I have cereal and other items in them. I like this size for cereal as I seldom buy huge boxes. So again a nice lock and lock set.

Love Lock & Lock
I really wanted the ones that had the flip top as I store my 3 dogs' dry food in them but these are great. I use them for my shredded wheat, rice, beans, pasta, crackers, cookies, prunes, and so much more. I am still waiting for the 18 cup ones with the flip up lid to come back. My husband says I am a lock & lock junkie. heehee I just use them for so many things. I label them and my cabinets, bookcases, storage shelves, garage and laundry room are all orderly.

Can't get enough!
I bought a "generic" sort of storage like these and the lid didn't close. I ordered 2 sets of these and all are in use! Dog snacks, pasta, crackers, cereal....... I am going to order more. One lady said she used hers for rice, beans etc. I'll be doing that too!!

Perfect size
I was hoping for a Lock & Lock product that would not take up a lot of "front" storage spage in my cabinets yet would hold plenty. These are perfect: tall, deep, yet not too wide. Exactly what I wanted. And as always, Lock & Lock works great.

Should have gotten more.....
I love these containers. Wish I'd ordered more for store my pasta, rice and beans in to get them out of the bags you buy them in. Guess I'll have to go back for more.

not handy to open
very difficult to get at food storage. I guess I thought I was getting the style that had a flip lid... My bad... should have paid better attention to the adv.

Another Great Product
I truely enjoy my L&L. These are great for storing cereal, chips that I bake with (chocolate, english toffee, buterscotch & etc.) They make storing more convenient and their size fits in my cabinets perfectly. Bring on more unique products.

Very Handy
With a 21 month old in the house, these come in very handy with having easy access to her favorite snacks, and mine. They are easy to wash and I haven't had any problems with the lids. My food has stayed fresh way longer than using twist ties.
