Not Good For Cheese Cake Baking
Love everything from QVC, but this item!!!! The first time using this item, I couldnt
release the Cheese Cake from the pan. The force from pushing down, my side thumb
prints mashed down on the cheese cake. The second time I place the Rikon pan inside of another pan with water while baking my cheese cake. the water leak inside the Rikon pan and destroyed my graham cracker crust.. The red seal dont go back into place correctly. Its best not to remove the botton or dont use it to bake cheese cake with a water base.

IT LOOKED GREAT BUT ................. NOOOOOO!
This pan seemed better than sliced bread during the TV demonstration. I love Chef Tony and his products. It took me several hours to separate the side from the bottom and the silicone gasket appeared twisted. I washed the 2 pieces.and oiled pieces with olive oil to no avail. My sister and I love to make cheesecakes, but I did not want to waste the ingredients or have a less than good outcome. I hope cute Chef Tony will come up with a better pan ASAP because we hate soggy cheesecake crust!!!! Regretfully, I must return this pan. David and Chef Tony put your heads together and save us from soggy crusts. By the way, WE LOVE YOU BOTH!!!!!!!! This would be a PERFECT gift for someone I DON'T LIKE,AT ALL!!!!!!! I hope you found mt review informative and entertaining!

Disappointed
I wanted to like this but couldnt. It was sooo difficult to press down and
would need to put it on the floor to release. I didnt want to do that. I
returned it the next day.

Cake non-stick push pan
I've made 1 cake and had no problums. Like anything I bake I always use a spray oil, usually the bake spray. I'm very satisified.

Not for the weak
I agree with the other reviewers about the difficulty in getting the bottom of the pan to push up. I had to soak in warm soapy water and even then it took some strength to push it up. Have not actually baked with it yet, but I will certainly oil it well!! I love the idea of what this is designed to do, so I hope it works for me.

Great Pan, with reservations
When I first received pan thought I would have to return. Had to get a friend with greater arm strength to release bottom. She then oiled inside of pan and gasket. I lined pan with parchment, baked a cheesecake and had no further problem. I think because gasket wasn't seated properly when initially assembled (it was twisted a bit) it created the problem. QVC needs to have factory check pushability when assembling and maybe have factory oil the pan or they are going to get a lot of pans returned. Giving pan a rating of 4 because of inital pushability.

Not as easy as demonstrated
If I had read the reviews before ordering I probably would not have ordered it. The way I see it, it is defective because the bottom will not come off regardless of the amount of pressure I use! I do wish QVC would stop receiving products from China and start using American made products. I will return this product marked as "defective".

very difficult to use
just got mine was so excited decided to bake cake for family Could not get the pan apart from the bottom just to wash them. Finally after really fighting it got it off and the seal came off and it is not bent. Cannot get the seal back on. On the air it looked so easy I want to know how the secret. I have problems with my shoulders and this pan does not help at all.

Not a good value!
I should have read the reviews before ordering. They were right about the difficulty in pushing the pan. When you consider the shipping cost both ways, it's more cost effective to keep it then send it back!. The product needs work.

DISAPPOINTED
I purchased this item about 2 months ago and just used it recently to make a cake for someone's birthday. I did follow instructions listed but I could not get the bottom to move no matter what I did. I finally put it on the floor and holding both sides of the pan I used as much of my weight as possible and then it finally moved! I don't know if I will be using this again and since I have had it for a while now I cannot return it.

Love this pan for cheesecake
I have used this pan numerous times for cheesecake. Much easier than using springform pan and no leakage.
