Should have bought one sooner I've seen these Vitamix blenders at trade shows, and on tv for years. I always wondered why would you buy a blender that costs more than a decent dishwasher. I had an older heavy duty Kitchen Aid commercial blender that I finally killed a few weeks ago, so I decided to take the plunge. This thing is worth every penny. It liquifies my morning drinks so easily that its ridiculous. I throw in big chunks of cucumber with my kale (I used to think that sounded gross too), and it just disappears. I cant wait for our Pina Colada nights with the neighbors. Haven't tried making "ice cream" or soup yet, but so far I couldn't be happier. 05-15-13

AWESOME BLENDER We had been drawn in to the world of blending (and whole, raw food blending) by the infomercials on television. We actually ordered the blender on t.v. but, fortunately, it was on back order and we did not immediately get it. I say fortunately because, while waiting, I began watching YouTube videos on blending and quickly learned that the blender I had ordered from the infomercial would not do the job I really wanted and the Vitamix was by far the most recommended blender. Thankfully, QVC offered this blender on an easy flex-pay option and we received it very quickly. We have now used it for several weeks and it will tear through raw, vegetables and fruit with ease making healthy vegetable and fruit smoothies for myself and family. I definitely highly recommend this blender. Don't buy one of the cheaper options because you will be disappointed that your smoothies are "chunkies" instead! 05-14-13

Best Purchase I was debating on buying the Vitamex for a few months,I wasn't sure because its pricey but I've heard so many great things about it. I'm so happy I finally decided on buying it, I've been wanting it so I could start juicing, make soups and healthy ice creams. It' so powerful & does a wonderful job! It's so worth the price... Wonderful We have used the Vitamix since the day it arrived. It arrived very quickly. I am hoping to purchase the dry pitcher soon. It pulverizes everything, easy to clean, and the blending noise it 1/2 of what I expected...not loud at all... less noise than my bullet! If you are serious about changing your life to include blending raw foods and getting healthy, this is the blender to do it with. 05-06-13

good purchase However i felt mislead, when the soup wasn't cooked in the vitamix and i'm having trouble understanding the use of the mixer. My second icecream attempt was a lot better. I think it takes a lot of practice more than it looks so easy on TV. I didn't get the raspberry seeds to completely mixed for a smoothie and it was awful w/the seeds. However if i master the instructions i will like it better and it is easier than 12 machines under cabinet, mine stays on the counter, my daughters can't wait to use it. 05-06-13

You get what you pay for! I thought it was overpriced but I hated our old blender with all the parts to clean and it jumping all over the counter and it leaked all over all the time no matter how tight or careful I was with assembly. Then we saw this while on vacation on tv one night my husband told me to change the channel so I did. But then we got our tax refund and I pestered him and he caved. I am so glad because with this machine my husband who loved his magic bullet and had just bought a new bullet on vacation when he said we didn't need this, STOPPED using his bullet. He loves this, so easy to use and clean up. He never has to worry about me cutting myself trying to clean it. Best of all it is so easy to use that we both use it now several times a day and have lost a significant amount of weight because no more excused about the blender. It is one of our best investments. Thank you QVC for carrying a great product that people can get on easy pay because it it costly, however, the saying is true, you get what you pay for! 05-02-13

LOVE!! I HAD TO WRITE THIS REVIEW BECAUSE I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS MACHINE, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BE ABLE TO MAKE THE BEST SMOOTHIES AND JUICES. IT IS SO EASY TO USE AND WASH TOO. MY FAMILY HAS BEEN HAVING BREAKFAST SMOOTHIES EVERY MORNING AND I AM JUST THRILLED WITH MY VITAMIX!! 04-30-13

VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER! I just received and have used the Vitamix once to make a Smoothie and I'm Already completely SOLD!! This machine is Awesome and will be a pleasure to use. Made a perfectly smooth smoothie in just a flash. And I have to say that I don't notice it to be any louder than the previous blender that I've been using. I love that it is not a heavy glass container like my previous one and it is SOOOOO easy to clean which makes it VERY user friendly for me. This will make cooking a Breeze and Fun again! My new Favorite kitchen appliance which makes it SO worth the investment. And the cookbooks that come with it are Awesome too. So glad that I finally took the plunge and made the purchase!! 04-24-13

GOOD, BUT WAY TOO LOUD!! AND SO EXPENSIVE! Seriously, this blender sounds like an airplane taking off! I'm sure it will do all they say it will do, but I just cannot stand the loud noise. Also, I wanted to try making bread, but now I realize I would need to PURCHASE the dry mixer attachment. This blender is already very expensive. I think I'll try to new Ninja blender/processor. That one appears to do the same or more, for 1/4 of the cost of this Vitamix, or less. 04-21-13

awesome product i purchased my vitamix from qvc and love it, although its been a learning experience last night i made my son alfredo sauce which was a variation of the recipe in the book i dropped cottage cheese and added ranch dressing he loved it! i have lyme disease and have to eat smoothies every day and this has made it simple for me to do Thanks 04-21-13
