Does not hold up like they say do. I bought these pans after searching for a long time for a new set. They were just what I was looking for and in a color that I liked. I got them and after about 6 mos or so the enamel on the outside of the small frying pan started to come off, the pans scratched on the inside and I NEVER used a metal utensil. I called QVC and had them replaced. I have had my second set a bit longer and I have exactly the same problems. I will be sending them back AGAIN! I have NEVER been unhappy or wrote a negative review about a product that I bought from QVC, but I am very unhappy with this one.
Very Poor Quality
I bought these because they were raving about them on the air. When I got them they were great but only for a very brief period. Shortly after my 30 day return period they began scratching no matter what utensil I used. I have scratches in the bottom of every piece. I would not recommend them. I am currently looking for another set. The color, and I got the red, is beautiful. If only the inside quality matched the outside
Dont waste your money!
I haven't even had this set 6 months and I'm embarrassed to bring them out and cook in front of people. I don't know what 'testing' these pans go through but I'm a cooker and I use my pans just about every day-this set doesn't hold up. I bought the silver set hoping they wouldn't peel and if they did it wouldn't look too awful-well the discoloration of my pans is terrible. The bottoms are so burnt-I keep scrubbing and scrubbing the stainless steel and it doesn't budge. I only have prepology cooking utensils yet the pans are all scratched! The 'non stick' has faded. I have to use cooking spray for just about everything. I regret not spending a little extra money on a nicer set. You would think spending over $100 for pans would get you at LEAST a year out of them.

this was my third set of these pans. they scratch even with wooden utensels. so sad . I love the color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
worst cooks essential cookware
The color smart is awful. Looks bad in months. Stuff scratches easy and peeling. Stick with the older DuPont nonstick. I will never get cooks essential with color smart again. If they don't replace with DuPont I would rather have money back and get another brand.
when the littlest sauce pot is hot and you want to pour out the contents it is very awkward because of the two handles. It is too heavy to hold by the one handle without burning your hand while trying to get all of the contents out of the pot
NOT HAPPY WITH QUALITY
I have been using this set for about 3 weeks and the paint is already coming off the outside of the skillet that I use the most - should not be doing that. If I could find my receipt I would be returning.
Love these pans!
Love everything about these pans, can't wait to get the larger skillet and matching items! My husband wants to hang them from the ceiling because they are sooo beautiful!
Beautiful at first and then the color chipped off. No longer nonstick. Will not purchase cooks essentials again.
Disappointing in the long term
I've now owned this product for two years. I use them regularly, and I don't baby them. That is, I wash them in the dishwasher and I use metal utensils with them some of the time. I don't purposely try to scratch them, but through daily wear and tear the non-stick surface has peeled away. They are still covered by a lifetime warranty, but I have to pay to ship them to Cook's Essentials. Unfortunately, this costs as much as a new set of pans. I will be ordering new pans, but they won't be Cook's Essentials. This product does not live up to its claims.
Absolutely so dissapointed in this cookware. Inferior product that has not held up. Started scratching from the very first use and this is with me treating it exactly as directed Scratched very easilly and I can't even use it no. Yuck
beautiful and useful!
I've been showing these beautiful pots off to my neighbors since receiving them last week. The copper color is great and not difficult to maintain like real copper pots are. I bought them to replace the old Cook's Essential pots I had for many years. The sizes are great, the little one with two handles is perfect for cooking rice, the largest skillet is deep and of course the nonstick quality is great! Very happy with my purchase.
