not worth the price to ship back
These shears do not work as well as a good pair of scissors. It works well on the plastic packaging, but not on light material. The tool to cut tape is difficult to work and very light weight and clumsy to manuver. The lock constantly sticks. Not a good QVC buy.

LOVE,LOVE AND LOVE!
I purchased this set as a surprise for my husband to use in our RV.HE LOVES!Matter of fact he tried taking one and putting it into his tool box,I caught it just in time,back into the RV it went.

Excellent Product
Super excellent product at a super price!!!!! Would be a great Christmas gift or birthday gift for about anyone. I love how it cuts through hard plastic surrounding so many items that we buy!!!!!

Finally have a pair of shears that cut just about everything. I use them in the garden, kitchen and my husband uses them for this boat modeling.

I love these
Great shears, especially considering that I am always reaching for them. Love the box cutter on the end. It lets you open a box without damaging the contents. Great for pruning also in the garden. Works well for cutting back branches on rose bushes, etc.

WHY DID I WAIT TO BUY
I have seen these quite often while watching QVC was not sure of the quality since the price was so reasonable . I received them last week they are awesome haved used both pair

SO HAPPY WITH THESE
I GOT SO TIRED OF TRYING TO OPEN STUFF WITH SCISSORS, NOW WE HAVE THESE AND WHAT A EASY PRODUCT TO USE, THEY OPEN EVERYTHING WITH OUT ANY HASSELS, SO FAST, NO MORE SORE HANDS, FROM FABRIC CUTTING, TO PLASTIC, THESE ARE SO NICE, MY HUBBY LOVES THEM TOO.............

I must say: this is the first time I am writing a review for a product such as this. I am a jewelry person, a cosmetics person, and a techie. I cannot believe I am so excited over a scissor set - but I LOVE THEM. They are useful for soooooooooo many things!!!!
I have other products from this company as well. ALWAYS FIRST RATE!!!

I've Purchased so many of these!
These shears are great!. I purchased 3 more sets this year as gifts. One set for my daughter- who always borrows mine- one set for my husband- who always borrows mine and one set for my sister- she's going to love them like me and my family. I haven't anything yet they haven't cut like butter. Thanks Kuhn Rikon for another great product- I think I own everything you make- Thanks QVC for bringing all the great kitchen gadgets from Kuhn Rikon.

THE HANDLE ON MY OLD HOUSEHOLD SHEARS CRACKED...
...So what to do? Go on QVC network, of course, and purchase a set of the Kuhn Rikon Kitchen/Household Shears! I've come to appreciate this vendor's quality, design, and applicable usefulness in products. Yes, I have other sets of Kuhn Rikon shears but these are a mite different with some sameness as the others. Got them in bright BUTTERCUP… and put them right to use. They cut through anything! Well, maybe not a railroad stile, and not just meat, herbs, flowers -- they tackle carpet, wire, and cardboard. The uniqueness is that the shears include a Phillips and flat-head screwdriver, and a box-cutter in the handle. This set is inclusive of kitchen shears AND household shears with the safety of a ‘Self-sharpening Spring action Lock to secure closure’ PLUS the screwdrivers are in the handle. Hand wash is fine with me with household detergent to prevent contamination of use from one item to another. P.S. I get frustrated with plastic protectors around DVDs and such, but these shears perform the task like magic.
