Wonderful!!
This is my first food processor and I couldn't be more pleased. Easy to assemble, easy to use. It has met all my expectations of how a food processor should work. I also love the accessory box so that I can keep track of every thing.

Slicing made easy.
I just used my new Wide Mouth Processor and It did exactly as advertised, I just love it and will be using it frequently. I don't know what some people were complaining about, I have had no trouble with it. Maybe they didn't read the directions???????

My First Food Processor
I love it. The instructions were easy to follow & I am so glad I got this. I have a progressive nerve condition which has made it very hard for me to use my dominant hand so I was cooking less and eating out more, UNTIL NOW!!! Thank you Kitchen Aid and QVC for getting me back in the kitchen and eating healthier.
So far I've only used the slicer, but I downloaded the recipe booklet and plan to use it regularly. Great idea QVC.
If you are contemplating buying this, stop thinking and get it. You will not be disappointed.

Big and Beautiful!
I've been big into making pickles and canning veggies the past few years........and my "C"brand processor was just too small to handle the job. PLUS when I tried to blend lentil soup, it would fill the blade shaft and spill out under the bowl, as well as leak out around the rim.
When I saw the dimension of this processor.......plus the on the fly adjustable slicing thickness.............I was sold.
A pleasant surprise was the seal around the rim.......that was th iceing on the cake.
I anticipate the adjustable slicing will speed my processing as I always had to do the extra thin onion slices by hand to balance them in flavor and crunch in my zucchini pickles. Also, the motor base is light, so I don't fear taking it out of the lower cupboard will strain my back.

Love this purchase
I love the price, the safety features, the color. I had a little trouble at first with putting it together but my parents and my nephew took control and did it. The whole family loves this processer and I like the easy pay. Thanks for a great product.

GREAT, so much flexibility!
I have always loved KitchenAid appliances so when I saw this one I couldn't pass it up. There are lots of safety features that I really appreciate things locking together, the finger holes especially since I have problems holding things, the smaller bowl, and tool storage container.
I just received this today, washed it all, dried, and then learned to put it all together. I must admit even though I have had a KitchenAid stand mixer for 24 yrs. I was concerned from the many that posted they couldn't get it to work and on and on. So I thought I'll see what how hard it is. I was given a different competitors food processor a couple years ago and it's broken now. The attachment drive just snapped from use. I needed to get this one working because I use a food processor almost everyday for just about everything I can.
Putting together was a snap.
The blades when in smoothly, pushed down until I heard the click, put the lid on and away it went. No problem getting any of them in and out. No problem with the smaller bowl features either.
I believe I understand why some are having trouble with the graters or the slicing disk. At first glance the instructions are a little hard to follow. If not looking at the picture it might be missed that one is just the shaft with the slicing adapter that goes onto the drive adapter. The drive adapter is used with the disc slicing blade only! This is the only way to use the slicing thickness in the front.
The shredding disk uses the other adapter. They are both easy to get on and off and using safely.
It's really a matter of making sure things are in place properly, make sure to listen for the click sound and then turning things into the correct position.
I have used other food processors and this one is safe, I love the seal, the large bowl with the flexibility of using the small bowl. It's a win, win for me.
My Hubby didn't get it at first because he was focused on putting the 3 piece together instead of putting one with the power shaft base and then the other one when using the other disc. He has never used a food processor before. When I suggested looking at the pictures he caught the problem and fixed it right away.
I hope this info helps, I love all my KitchenAid appliances. My stand mixer is absolutely the best thing. I even mix a large quantity of meatloaf in the mixer because doing it by hand is hard for me. I had an employee once that did her best to break it and she just couldn't. I've had lots of experiences with my Kitchenaid items.
I am eying the Artisan Raspberry mixer, just because I would love to have something bright and different in my kitchen and maybe I'll pass my older stand mixer down to my youngest daughter so she can learn to use it. :)

Too Bad They Don't Offer Trade in's..
I purchased a KitchenAid a few years ago from QVC. It is nice, but this one looks better.

BE VERY CAREFUL
I had the competitor's food process for over 20 years when it gave out. So I bought this product. It lasted less than a year with all the plastic parts cracking a splitting. I tried to replace them and the cost of the replacements exceeded the product. Went back to the other competitor and have had it for five years without a problem.
Kitchen Aide mixers are the best. The other products: not so much.

RETURNED & GLAD
my husband bought me this for a gift , he was going to be the first to try it out , but it didnt sound right to him very noisy and made grinding noise so he re checked it and something was wrong so back in the box it went and he called Cust serv. they sent out another one, guess what ? ditto ! after 4 times he called Kitchen aid and they would send out a refurbished one to replace this brand new one ! SUCH A DEAL !
I wont say what he told them ! after 4 tries and each a reject item we decided we dont want or need this machine , we went to BB and Beyond and got a first class Cuisinart that runs like a race horse !
Some things just are not a bargin you get what you pay for !

I don't know how it works yet
I would love to get this thing together so I can use it but it's so hard to assemble, it should have a dvd to watch while assembling because your hands are occupied putting it together then you have to put everything down to read the manual and it's annoying, with a DVD my hands would be free...I'm gonna have to ask for help from a friend, it's complicated to assemble and does need a DVD guide

Favorite Cooking Tool
OMG, this is the first food processor I have ever owned. Well I take that back, I've owned the mini processors but they don't have the attachments that this processor has. First step, read the instructions in their entirety and then read it again. Read what each attachment is for and look at it until it makes sense and trust me, it does make sense. I have to say I love dragging out the food processor. Sure it's big but it does so much. I can't wait to use it each day. First thing I did was get a few vegetables and tested out each attachment to see how it worked and what the cut looked like. I love the adjustable slicer. Once you get use to how things fit together, it is a breeze to put together and take apart. Love, love, love it!

Best Food Processor Ever
I have tried several food processors over the last several months. I make homemade Hummus and other things like peanut/almond butter. All the others either took forever to complete the job or died doing it. This processor started right up continued to complete the job in less than a couple of minutes. It never hesitated or slowed down. I have since used it for other things such as slicing and shredding. Works Great!!!!!!! Have many other Kitchen Aid products, should have started with this first. You will not regret if you purchase.
