Disappointed!
I live alone and am very disappointed with the
pie maker! I didn't get a recipie book and when I
use it I have a very hard time getting the pies out!
How in the world do you clean it?? I didn't overfill it!!

Amazing little do anything machine!
We love this machine....my kids go nuts for all the snack size foods you can create and with me being a singe mom of 3 kids under age 5 if its not quick nd simple or somthing they like its not worth my time. We have made cupcakes, muffins, corn muffins wth hot dog in the middle, cinnamon rolls, pies, even tostedo bowls for taco nite. The machine is a life saver i can make extra and freeze for a quick snack after school and they love to help come up with new combinations and things to try.They have eaten everything ive made in this wonderful lil machine if thats not proof that it is great i dont know what is! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great for the single/elderly person
What a great little machine! I made 4 individual apple pies and immediatly ate 2! Froze one as a test for future - thawed out /re-heated perfectly in microwave. Your imagination is limitless with this machine. Coconut pie, peach, apple, chocolate, lemon, key lime? My friend bought one because her husband has advanced Altzheimers and it's hard to get him to eat. He loves apple pies and she was spending a lot on individual fruit pies; now she makes them and saves money! The cooked pies freeze nicely wrapped in aluminum and re-heated for 40 seconds in a microwave (without aluminum wrapping!). Going to try using a tortilla wrap instead of pie crust for a thinner crisper crust.
I look forward to making the meat pie recipe as when I come home from work, a quick meal is a meat pie w/gravy and some steamed vegs; all ready in under 10 minutes in the microwave.

Not what I was hoping for
The concept of this small appliance sounded greart. However, I can do the same thing in cupcake tins. Unless you are only cooking for a small family (3-4 people) this appliance would requirement a large time committment to make several pies. The included recipe book has recipes for double or even triple baking batches. That much time makes this a not so good investment. I ordered it during the two day Christmas in July special so I had some time to decide if it would work or not. I thik that this is one of those love it or hate it items. It just doesn't work for me.

I have to admit, it is the Best Kitchen appliance I have purchased!

I LIKE IT, I LIKE IT A LOT!
My husband, son and I have fun making different types of sandwiches or pizza pies. After a long, tiring day at work this is a great product and easily solution to use the pie maker to fix something to eat quickly. And one of these days I plan on making pies with it.

Big dissppointment
I bought this as you advertise it as a pie and cake maker. Really? Where are the instructions for making cakes or muffins? Is it even possible?

Easy to use
I was so excited to get this item that I made little chicken pot pies the very next day. I used lattice crusts on top of the pies, rather than solid pie tops, and filled them as full as I thought possible. The filling oozed out of the top and the lattice did not cook completely, although the bottom of the pies were nice and brown. Perhaps, it would work better with solid pie tops. I will try that. I did love the easiness of using this. Living alone, it is so nice to make a few small pies in this, instead of heating up the oven. And it takes only 15 minutes!!

Uneven Baking
I had the same problem others had. The crust does not bake even. Part of the crust is gooey and part is too tough.
I checked other brands and customer review, all said the same thing, uneven baking.
I will be returning this item.
I bought a "My Little Pie Maker" online and bake mini-pies in the oven, it works great and you have temperature control.

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE THIS
This makes the perfect little pies and cakes. Great for portion control. Great way to serve individuals their own little pie or cake. Kids love it.

A handy dandy!
I have now made sweet and savory pies, and little cakes. This appliance works great. I did read the reviews and started things from cold as recommended. Planning on making several kinds of pies and putting them in the freezer. They are so convenient. The little cakes get done a lot faster than I expected, so keep an eye on those.
What fun!!!
