Good idea if it actually worked.
I ordered 5 of these. The idea of it was great.....to bad they didn't work like you would think. I couldn't keep the arm up. I had other people also trying to keep the arm up. We all read the instructions...over and over to see it that issue was addressed in the instructions. Couldn't find it. It really didn't heat up enough in my opinion to keep food hot. For a positive note.....I still had the boxes they came in and I called Qvc and I was able to ship them back in the same boxes and I used the return label.... I took them to the post office and that was that. It was very simple. Qvc made it easy to return. I got my refund in a timely manner. I am giving this one star only because I can't go any lower. Still love QVC....I look forward to shopping more.... :]

infra ray is a good ,,safe, way to thaw things. some very frozen things, and it does a thorough job. i love my thawing process with this lamp

Great Product
I purchased two of these lamps. The instructions were very easy to understand and when followed as instructed they worked perfectly. I had no difficulty in keeping the arms up in position. The base is heavy so they can not be tipped over easily. I love the fact that they can be plugged into one another. It takes a few minutes for the lamp to heat up but once it does you can easily feel the heat radiating towards your food. The price was fantastic. I checked several sites and nothing could compare to the QVC price. Now when I have our large events my food stays nice and hot for everyone to enjoy.

Worst Product Yet!
I thought this would be nice to have during the holidays when foods are put out on the table while others are getting ready to go on the table. Thought this would keep everything warm. First off there were no instructions. Didn't think I would need them except there is no way the arm will stay up. The lamp part is very heavy and it brings the arm down until it is in your food. Looked everywhere for a locking mechanism but there is none. No way to tighten it in the position you want and you have to keep an eye on it as it begins to go down. Second it doesn't get very warm at all. I thought there would be a light coming from it but I was wrong. Thinking it wasn't on even through the switch was on I ended up touching the lamp area and realized there was some heat coming from it. 10 minutes later the whole unit was off and there was no way you could turn it back on. Will be sending this back and will try one more time. Hope I am not wasting my time and I sure hope the other one doesn't do the same thing.
