This griddle is very convient to use and I like the size and the clear lid. The heating element does not cook evenly, as stated in the other reviews, you have to move the food around to have it cooked evenly. But for the price, it's worth it. Easy to clean, no sticking problems.

Easy & awesome!!
I love this grill!!! It is so,,,, easy to grill and food comes out moist. The cleanup is easy too! Easy to store because of the slimline design.

awesome griddle
my husband loves this griddle it does exactly what they said it does on tv. he hardly cooks on the stove or in the oven anymore. this is the best griddle in the world and its takes up very little counter space

Downsized from big griddle
Making pancakes is my primary use of a griddle. I decided to downsize from a big rectangular griddle to this smaller round Deni griddle since we don't eat pancakes as often. Save on storage space, yes. Better pancakes? Not necessarily. It seems that the heating element arrangement under the cooking surface does not provide even heating. With four pancakes cooking in the pan, the two nearest the control unit are pale and underdone, while the two on the opposite side are nearly burnt. I will probably go back to cooking pancakes on my stovetop griddle and use this Deni griddle for other foods than can be moved or stirred around while cooking. The nonstick surface seems OK and I do like the size of the griddle, but I'm disappointed in the uneven heating.

Decent little appliance but...
I ordered after having watched it on In The Kitchen with David. The chef was making, salmon fillets, eggs, quesadilla's etc. David remaked how things don't stick to this griddle, but, that is the one issue I do have with it. I made a salmon fillet and it stuck to the griddle, and I tried making a 3 egg fritata. Again it stuck rather badly. I was under the impression you didn't need to grease or pam the griddle but it sure seems like you do to me, both things I have tried have stuck rather strongly. So my only complaint is that it really is not really non stick. Other wise it has it's place and is handy.
