I PURCHASED THIS SLOW COOKER BECAUSE I BOUGHT THE ROASTER OVER FOR MY DAUGHTER SOME TIME AGO AND I FIND MYSELF BORROWING IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. WHEN I SAW THIS SLOW COOKER, I THOUGH THAT THIS CAN'T BE TOO BAD. THIS IS THE BEST. IT COOKS GOOD AND LOOKS VERY GOOD SITTING OUT ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE COOK ESSENTIALS PRODUCTS. I WILL FOREVER PURCHASE THEM. THANKS QVC.

Would Be Perfect With a Proper Lid
I have used this slow cooker six or seven times with no issues except for one. The lid does not fit correctly so there is liquid/water 'spatter' all over my counter each and every time the cooker is used on high. I have resorted to overing the unit with a tea cloth or dish towel whenever it is in use.
The size is perfect for my small family. The clean-up is ALWAYS a breeze.
I am happy I purchased it but continue to search for the perfect slow cooker.

I have had others, This is by far the best !!!!!
No matter what i put in my slow cooker, everything is always tender, juicy and really cooks quicker than most slow cookers i have had in the past! My family loves it and on long work days , there is nothing better than coming home to a home cooked meal already done!

best little cooker
I purchased the 2qt cooker several yrs ago and put it in our RV, I loved it so much that after vacation this yr I got on line and bought the 4qt for our at home needs, just used it for the first time a week ago for a small reunion and with the bag to keep it hot , we travled 150 mls and the black eyed peas were still HOT...I love it, plan to get one for all 3 of our girls...

Very Useful
This crockpot is just the right size for my use. A 6 quart was really too big and the name Cooks Essentials says it all! And I really like having the travel bag and bungie cord that goes with it. And last but not least, the price was great. thanks for offering another great product!!!

Best crockpot ever!
This crockpot is well made. The temperatures are accurate and the top fits perfectly. The travel bag is a bonus and the price is a bargain!

Great Crock Pot
I own several other sizes but none are oval. All are round. I made a roast in it last Sunday and came out just as good as the rest. I love the strap to go over the top when taking it somewhere and the carrying bag. I will get a lot of use out of it. It is a great size.

LOVE this Slow Cooker; but..................
This slow cooker is ideal for singles or retired couples. I would give this pot a 5-Star rating once CooksEss corrects the design flaws. Once the next design generation corrects the flaws this pot could be a 5-Star winner. Here they are: 1) It is Tipsy. It sits on 3 'legs'. Would you put a boiling pot of anything on a tripod? 2) I agree with the others who say the lid is too small and steam/water condenses and spits out as contents boil. 3) I agree with people who said it runs too hot, even on the low setting. Comes to a boil too quickly on Low.
All that said, I'm not returning it because it is ideal for my use as a single person. I hope QVC/Cooks Ess take the reviews seriously and correct the flaws. I love the idea of this pot and the usefulness of it in a small household. I'm working around the flaws and keeping the pot because I haven't seen anything like it elsewhere.

This slow cooker is great for pot lucks and taking treats to work....best thing I ever bought!!!
