Ordered this round blue b-basket last week on the lunchtime special, dummy me,. should have ordered two at same time. Received today and it is beautiful. Should have ordered 2 one for me and one for a x-mas gift. Oh well you win some you lose some(breadbaskets). Josie-delaware

more than a bread basket
I first saw this stoneware basket at my sister's house, fell in love immediately, had to have one,but bought 2, one for my daughter also. I used it as a center piece with gourds displayed in it for dining table, daughter was thrille to get one. I just ordered 2 more, one for my daughter-in-law birthday and one for my secret pal at church, in green for holiday time. My daughter and I have blue to match ourcolor scheme. I got her a round and myself a square one. Great price when purchased on clearance and with reduced shipping for purchase of 2.

GOOD BREAD BASKET FOR HOLIDAYS AND/OR EVERYDAY!
TEMP-TATIONS ROUND (or square) STONEWARE BREAD BASKET is attractive, washes well in dishwasher and nice size (not too big . . . not too small). Like that it is ceramic and keeps hot rolls/bread, etc. warm longer. I ordered the round in green color and it is a cheery green color, not too bright but definitely NOT dull looking--will look very good on Holiday table. Especially like that it was offered at clearance price! Thank you TARA and QVC!

Painting quality is very poor....
I am frustrated that I had to return the round green bread basket from Temptations... the painting on the basket skipped several areas and was a very shoddy! Where is quality control??? I am disappointed in Temptations. I was told that this is a problem with the product... you would think they would correct this issue or STOP selling it, even at a clearance price! I purchased one Temptations product before and had the same problem with the cover piece. Had to exchange it and when I did the cover pattern and colors did not match the pot. I won't buy Temptations again! Unless you want to settle for low quality, don't trust Temptations!

Not to Happy with this piece
My whole kitchen is filled with Temp-tations. I wasn't to happy with the glazing. Parts of the basket were not glazed, and thats not good if you are planning to put food in it. Your food is not to be in contact with unglazed clay.

Useful and Visually Pleasing Product
I have purchased a few Temp-tations pieces and I am never disappointed. I purchased the round shape. This product met all of what Q-V-C is about. Quality (Q) - nice design & visually pleasing. Value (V) - clearance prices made a great value. Convenience (C) - great utility on this basket - I use mine for fruit and leave it on the counter. I would have preferred this item in confetti, but since it was a clearance item the color selection was very limited. I am pleased with this purchase.

Bread Basket
I ordered the round bread basket in the green and it is truly beautiful and well made. My only complaint is that the green does not match the other pieces I have in Old World. The green and the blue are much too vibrant. However, it is a keeper due to the fact it is of great size and very pretty. I plan on keeping it on my kitchen counter and use it for a fruit basket also. Again, It is definitely a keeper and I give it 5 stars.

Blue color was off for me
I ordered this hoping that the blue color was going to be a cobalt shade of blue. I'd wanted to use it for my folded cloth napkins. Package arrived, I opened it, discovered a grey/blue hue, and promptly repackaged to return. If the color works for you then it probably would be great. It just didn't work for me.

Not painted well.
I ordered 2 of them, one in green and one in cream. Had to send them both back because they weren't painted properly. Decided I didn't like the green color so I wanted to get replacements in cream. By the time they received them back the cream had been sold out. I liked the design of them but just disappointed in the way they were glazed.

Lovely in Blue!
Purchased square in blue and it arrived today and it's lovely!
Looks great on my baker's rack with other blue temp tations inside it.
It will be used for family Sunday dinner and I am happy to have it before it leaves for good within the temp tations line of lovely items.
Thanks Tara and Thank You QVC for making my table so pretty-full! But... I will always miss and pray you bring back my beautiful yellow in all items.

Great Purchase!
Got this in the round & green. Looks great & should work perfectly keeping rolls, bread, warm. No problems with the paint, edges, etc.
