Great idea but not ready for distribution
The concept of these mugs was a great idea but they just don't work. The motor
S L O W S down after about 10 seconds. They are also not that easy to clean as its narrow on the bottom and your trying to avoid getting the motor wet.

Disposable
Used these for a few months to mix up baby formula. Worked well until they didn't anymore. Just threw them out!

Worse Purchase Ever
These mugs did not stand up to the quality I expect from QVC.

Genius Idea
Originally I bought these mugs for my daughter and gave them to her for Christmas last year, she loves them and they work great for mixing her protein shakes. When David mentioned that there was a last call for these mugs and they wouldn't be in stock anymore I quickly headed for my computer and ordered a another set. Since I travel so much it's nice to have my own mug and take it along with me.

Love, Love, Love it
I have to say I purchased quite a few sets. I wanted to give them out as gifts. I gave them to my husband, my daughter, my son, my daughter in law, my cousin and myself. We absolutley love them! I've had them for quite a few months and I can't tell you how much we all love them for coffee, tea, etc. If I didn't have one, I would be lost. My son had one and lost the button because he brings it back and forth to work. He borrowed my husbands and he is doing fine with it. I just purchased another two sets because honestly, if they went on us now, I would be devistated! I would recommend them to anyone and like I said, my family absolutley loves them. We use them every day, quite a few times a day and they work perfectly!

Great for dressings
I use this when I take a salad to a potluck, can remix salad dressing when it separates, I have had mine for about 5 years. Yes I take out battery to clean it but have had no problems. Great for mixes and protein shakes, Mine is the older version but it has been great!

Great when they work!
We used these every day for about 2 months when they both quit at the same time. I don't think it was the motor, I think it was the on/off button not making contact. They replaced them, so we'll try again and hope for better luck. Had I read the reviews first, I would not have made the purchase.

Great for specific uses
I use these for my fiber and my protein drinks. I add flax to both of these. This mug has the ability to mix before each drink. Especially when I am doing the protein/flax seed drinks. I can enjoy the beverage rather than having to slam it before it seperates. I have found that you need to put the liquid in the mug, start it up and then add the powder. The batteries that come with it are not good batteries and do not last very long. When I use good brand alkaline batteries, I get at least two weeks use. And that is using it twice a day.

Don't Bother. Wont last
Overall great idea of the tornado mug. However after only 3 uses, the motors burn out or stop working all together. New batteries after each use it seems, and yet they just dont work for long. My son was thrilled to be able to have his chocolate milk mixed while he watched, however it was very disappointing that it just didn't last. We are sending these back. Not sure if it was just a bad shipment or what based on other reviews. I have reordered a set to see if possibly we just got a bad set. Like the concept, just need a longer lasting mixer action. If second set fails again, would not give this one star.

Nice Idea but does NOT work
I bought these so we can make our protein drinks in the morning. One worked for just over a month and quite. We put in new batteries (which turned out to still have power in them) but nothing. The second one worked for another month or so but has also quite.
Don't buy, these are poor quality.

Bad purchase
I only got one use from each cup. The only liquid that it mixed was liquid chocolate milk syrup. I put powdered chocolate mix and nothing happened. Very disappointed.
