Ninja 6-qt 3-in-1 Slow Cooking System
I have a Crock Pot a pressure cooker and now this and I love them all. This just makes cooking a little easier. Clean up is a breeze.
Way Beyond a Regular Crock pot
I bought the Ninja Cooker from a big box store (for much less money). We had built an apartment for our daughter which has an "efficiency kitchen" meaning fancy microwave. I had purchased the Ninja blender for my son, who loved it, so decided to take a chance on this product. I was going to use it at Thanksgiving but decided it isn't big enough for our large group even for sides. It has sat in my cupboard for months while my daughter is at school. When I saw the Aquamarine color which appears to be the exact color of the accents in my daughter's room, I decided to break it out and see if it's worth the extra money. The first thing I made was Salmon with Quinoa. It's a variation on the Chicken with Quinoa recipe in the book. It turned out perfectly with a few modifications. (I've made quinoa only once before with disastrous results.) I immediately ordered the Aquamarine and hope it's here in time for my daughter's arrival for the summer. I am planning to use the black Ninja at all family gatherings and potlucks from here on out. I travel and many times don't want to eat in a restaurant by myself; easy to pack in the car. Will probably give a few as wedding/shower or Christmas presents. The only downside I see is the size; I don't believe you can find a roast to fit in this thing. On the upside, those lamb shanks in my freezer are going to be used up this weekend. :)
Made a rack of baby back ribs (about 1 to 1-1/2 lbs) in the pan and on the rack that came with it. Trim excess fat and remove thin skin off the backside. Cut the ribs in half for manageability. Spread some black bean garlic sauce on both sides, added a little water to the pan. Cooked at 350 for about 1 hr to 1-1/2 hr. (Used Lower temp and cooked longer than cookbook) Tender and yummy! Can also add potatoes. Make gravy with drippings. You will love this unit! Only things I wish it had would be that the timer to also work for stove functions and have an alarm beep. A white visible mark on the dial would be nice too to see what function you have it set on.
Bought this a few months back and we use it at least 2 or 3 times a week! Quick cooking on oven setting and soooo easy to clean! I have a few other Ninja appliances that I swear by and this one fit right in!! Highly recommend if cooking for just a few people (we use it when just cooking for me & my husband). And I've talked my mother into getting one as well...
A must have appliance
I thought my old crockpot of 38 yrs. was good until I purchased this!!!! First, I love
the sleek oblong pot that is so simple to clean. I made a pot roast, that I browned
first, and then slow cooked it to perfection -- delicious!!! I've made a lentil soup
and chicken caccatorie in it and it's so simple now. I do everything in one pot!!!!
It is now a permanent appliance on my countertop. Love, love, love it!!!!
If you're a working parents and want nutricious meals this is the answer.

Can't lose with the Ninja I use.
I am so pleased with the two Ninjas I purchased so I purchased one for each of my (5) children and my best friend and his wife. I have purchased 8, and I have no regrets.
I have had just about all of the "trendy" kitchen products and gadgets that have been invented. This product is ABSOLUTELY the best product that has come along. Food just seems to taste better. the functionality of this cook is second to none. My first item that I tried was a prime rib roast. I was extremely leery of subjecting an expensive cut of beef as my guinea pig. It came out beautifully, just as advertised. I use it at least 3 times weekly for everything from chili to pork roasts to spaghetti sauce. I really have just scratched the surface as to what I can make. You wont go wrong with this purchase. No more warming up the house with the oven. Cant say enough good!!!!
Best kitchen item I have ever had.
Got this about 2 months ago. I luv cooking with it. I have made prime rib better than our favorite restaurant. I made beef and noodles, steaks, mac n cheese. I hardly use my stove at all.
worst purchase I have ever made
this thing goes into error code every time I use it. I can unplug it for weeks and have all my ingredients ready to go but this thing isn't. I got online and read you can reset it by unplugging it , not true. this error code it a design flaw in my opinion
I let it sit for over 30 days or I would have boxed it up no matter what the shipping was.
I think my old reliable crock pot is a better deal.
Don't wait, this is the best thing you can do for your life, this year and beyond!!!
Ordered this to make my black beans, lentil, split peas and other soups, but kept it in the box for a month. I finally decided to just cook the split peas in it, but when I looked it was cooked in record time. I then decided to add the additional parts to the soup, and to my surprise it came out far beyond my expectation. I really don't want to use the stovetop again, because the stovetop setting works just fine or, even better in my opinion. It is great!!
I wanted and received this item for Christmas and have since made a boneless prime rib, meatball appetizers, an egg/hash brown frittata, spaghetti & meatballs, pork carnitas & soup, and all have come out fabulous! I love the ability to brown in the pot, and the different cooking functions make it very versatile. Today I'm making scones and tomorrow beef stew. I'm so happy with this item! I also have a Ninja blender...it's the best blender I've ever had. They make good quality products!
This is a FANTASTIC item
This was purchased for me by a friend for Christmas. It is an incredible appliance. I have used the cookbook for some new ideas and also cooked biscuits in it though they are not in the cookbook.
