I LOVE MY NEW BRAZIER!!! I have found many more uses for this pot than just brazing. Recently, I have roasted a 3 lb chicken, cooked a fabulous brisket and even fried food in it. Mind you, I have only had it a few days but I find reasons to use it. This pot has a large cooking surface and cooks evenly. My favorite part is going from stove to oven easily. I originally wanted the 7.5 qt Le Creuset French Oven but I am glad I got this one first. This was my very first piece of Le Creuset cookware and will certainly not be my last! NOTHING COMPARES After enjoying their Dutch oven I had to add this signature braiser to my cookware. I could not be more pleased with the performance. The Le Creuset folks have changed the top knob to accomodate 500 degrees. The older model had a 350 degree limit. It cooks evenly, sears beautifully, excellent for braising moroccan dishes and cleanup is a breeze! I even fry eggs and pancakes in this. The cooking surface is much larger than expected. It also has a lifetime guarantee. I highly recommend this investment that will last a lifetime. 03-22-12
