I found that I needed a larger Dutch Oven and knew there was only one choice. La Creuset is the ONE. After you buy one you are theirs for life. It is like an old friend tried and true.

This is the best kitchen item I have ever bought. It is a one pot wonder and so much fun to cook with. It is crazy expensive, so had to do easy pay to break down the overall cost. For a family of four, with two of them teenagers, the 5 1/2 quart is perfect. You may want to go to the next size up if you have a bigger family.

I already owned a red Le Creuset dutch oven, but always wanted the white one because I collect white plates and all of my other Le Creuset items are white. I decided to give my sister-in-law my red one, and purchased the white one on QVC. It's beautiful! While Le Creuset items aren't cheap, they last an absolute lifetime. I took such good care of the red pot, it's like giving a brand new one to a family member. I recommend using their cleanser, or Bar Keepers Friend to keep your dutch oven clean and new looking. I use my dutch oven for just about everything! Le Creuset is definitely an investment, but well worth the addition to your kitchen and they're so beautiful you will want to keep it out!

If you're on the fence because of the price be assured that it is worth every penny. I purchased mine 30 years ago ( I have 5 of them) and they all still look like new. Will hand them down to my daughters someday.

I ordered this pot in the flame color and was blown away. It is absolutely beautiful. After being on the fence for several years, I decided to take the plunge and am so glad I did. It performs just as well as the on-air demonstrations, and clean up is a breeze .Everything cooks precisely and evenly. Although It takes a few minutes to come up to temperature, once it does , food is cooked perfectly. I have fried in it and braised in with wonderful results. I am so thankful for easy pay making it affordable. I am now a believer in this line of cookware, and eagerly look forward to expanding my collection.

I have q few pieces of Le Creuset and love it!!!! I have yet to use any soap on this cookware. As soon as I plate the food, I soak the pan or pot in hot water from the tap and after dinner all I need to use is my happy face scrubbie!! Heats up and cooks evenly even on my irritating glass top stove with the burners that keep going on and off. Use lower heat as well. Once in a while I do use the liquid bar keepers friend when my husband cooks and sears meat. But that's not very often.

So happy to see more and more of the Palm. The pots are very heavy and substantial and look nice on the table to serve right out of.

Cooks beautifully, evenly, and cleans up with very little effort. It's def an investment but worth every penny, I've had it for approx. a year and it still looks brand new despite using it 4+ days a week. I know I will have this the rest of my life and will more than likely be able to pass it on to my daughters in 30 years. Will buy more pieces in the future.

Forget the proud brand name and that outrageous price tag (I could only manage with "Easy Pay", thanks to QVC!). Forget how beautiful this thing looks in the kitchen. And forget about the supreme quality that ensures others will be fighting over it after you're death.
Just know that this is the most wonderful pan I have ever owned, and believe you will feel the same. Have used it for MANY purposes, and it is the only pan I use now. I even bake bread in it with EASY recipes that anyone can throw together..... heats so evenly, food turns out perfectly, and SOoooooo easy to clean. Thought all the claims were exaggerated. Nope. This pan IS amazing. I did debate over the size, since I knew I could only afford 1.... and I am thrilled with this one... not too big, but large enough to do just about everything, and for multiple people.
If you're sitting on the fence like I was for so many years, go for it! I believe you shall wish you'd made the splurge long ago, too. ;)

It took me a while to take the plunge --but the 5 payments made it affordable. At these prices, also wanted to be sure I ordered a size that would best meet my needs. Luckily, the 5.5 quart size has been perfect. I use it multiple times each week. Clean up is so easy. Ordered the Marseille blue, which is beautiful and stays on the stove top. This product is superior to anything I have used in the past and know it will last a life time and be passed on to the next generation.

I have been cooking way too many years to have never had one of these ovens before !!! Perfect size, it is manageable though heavy and quality material. Easy clean up, take care of it, you don't have to use high heat to do a great job. Works on my glass top range, perfect for the oven. I find myself cooking more and making different meals just to be able to use it!!! Beautiful on the range, I just leave it out to admire it. One son and one daughter in law are already claiming it as their own after I am gone!!!! lol I bought the classic flame as I do accents or orange in my kitchen. It is beautiful. So worth the price. This is the only pot you need, girls.Get this thing as soon as you can! I believe the handles are a bit larger than some of the other Le Creuset pots and it is easy to handle. I LOVE IT.

I love love love this French Oven. It does all it says it will. Natural non-stick, easy clean. Usable on stove top to in oven ! A little pricey, but worth every penny. You don't need any other pot for any braise, stew, soup or sauce. The best pot roast I ever made was the first meal when I received it. Started on top of stove and finished in oven and it was great.
