Use mine ...for the Wine Room...
Between the awesome cookbooks from QVC... I never have had a bad meal in this... my clients LOVE my cooking...QVC needs to offer parts or.... a discounted new pressure cooker when parts wear out....or make a better mouse trap.... PLEASE... love this cooking vessel....I have probably sold at least 10 of these because I love it...

Completely broke 1 yr later
I have to say I loved this thing! I used it a couple of times a week. Then the weekend of my sons 16th birthday with 60 people coming over to celebrate it breaks. It won't power on at all. It lasted 14 months. That's a crazy price for only 14 months of use.

No problems, Love it!
I have had none of the problems listed below. I have owned this maybe a year.
Everytime I use it Im amazed! Just made the Chicken Osso Buco and the Risotto....perfect every time.

totally disappointed
I used my pressure cooker at least twice a week. loved it so much...then it completely died on me. and the manufacturer didn't honor the warranty - even though it was still under one year, sent me back to QVC for a credit. total disappointment.

poorly made
I have bought a pressure cooker before it lasted a very long time but this isn't even a year. Old. The pin popped out the lid doesn't even stay down when its locked. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Now I have to see if I can buy another one . This isn't worth the money

Junk
I used it about 12 times and then the steam pressure pin just popped out when it came to pressure. Then it did the same thing again the next two times. It sits on a shelf, but it has turned me on to pressure cooking, so I invested in a stove top unit. Not that hard to learn to use.

it's junk for the price
I bought this as the TSV in Sept. 2010, it worked great for a Year. Last Year i had to use a Knife or Spoon to pry it open even after it was unlocked. Then the Pressure Valve start acting up just to be broken off 3 weeks ago :(
I guess for a $100.00 the Quality could have been better, will I buy another Item from Cooks Essentials ? heck no. it's not like a paid $40.oo for it

Love My Pressure Cooker!
I was always afraid of these things. But was enticed by Bob and David to give it a try and love this thing!! Macaroni and cheese is a breeze. Ribs, delish, chicken, delightful, stew, goulash, you name it...very easy to use and no disappointments. I also bought Meredith's and Bob's cook books which give step by step directions, which are priceless when you don't know what you're doing.

Dissappointed
Unfortunately I would not recommend this product. My mother had purchased two of these, in red, and gave one to me. Not ever having one I was excited to try it out. Mine worked well the first couple of times, but after the 3rd or 4th use the slide lock started to give me problems. Since I would only use it once in awhile I just dealt with it. Well after several more uses it had just stuck so bad that we couldn't get it to lock anymore. The warranty was over so we just threw it out.
My mom used her's twice but decided she just didn't like cooking in a pressure cooker and gave it to me to use. I used it a couple of times and it worked great! It has now been about 3 years since she first purchased the item and between the both I probably used them a total of 15-20 times.
Okay, Easter Sunday is here and my family requested a special pot roast that I had cooked in it before so I agreed to cook it. The roast was 6 lbs and I browned it on all sides before putting it in the pressure cooker. It is now 2:00 in the afternoon on Easter Sunday - I turn it on and before it even reached pressure the silver floating pin popped right out of the lid making it totally worthless!!! Needless to say we had to have leftovers for Easter dinner since the only other directions for this roast was on the stove top to cook for 6-8 hours!! This one now is sitting in the garbage awaiting the garbage to hall it away!
Please do not waste your money on this unit!

It may Stop But I Won't
I have read many of your reviews and had i seen them before my purchase i may not have bought. I bought and had it over a year and QVC took it back; got the second one and lacking one month being a year; they again gave me another one. i know you thin I'm nuts but....i just spoke with QVC again and same problem as first two; they are sending me another cooker. This pot lasted five months....So I sure wish they could fix this problem...This shows how much QVC appreciates our business and the rep was so apolegetic...wasn't her fault.....so don't give up....call and tell them; just look at the many reviews complaining of the control panel dieing. They have always stood behind their products i have purchased; I've just never had this many of one product! Good LUCK!

IT DIED THE 5TH TIME I USED IT!!!
VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! I LIKED IT WHILE IT LASTED...ELECTRONICS DIED AFTER ONLY A FEW USES. CALLED THE MANUFACTURER, THEY SAID IT CAN'T BE FIXED AND THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT BECAUSE THE WARRANTY IS PAST.
WAIST OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!
