You Will Love This!
I couldn't find anything that kept my lettuce fresh for more than a week. My husband likes those bagged salad mixtures that are kind of expensive and they didn't last long either. He was so amazed that he wanted me to teach him how to use it too. Now we're both using it for everything and I ran out of bags. You will have to buy them from the official Foodsaver website. The shipping is about $8.00 but you get a lot of bags so over all, it's well worth the price

Good little helper
I have the original foodsaver that is over 20 yrs old and works great. I bought this little handheld version for some smaller items that are used more often for example cheese and bakery goods it works well. I did see other comments about the problem with sealing the plastic bags you do need to run your finger a few times over the seal or even run a butter knife across the top so it seals before you pull out the air.

Please do not buy this product
I have a Foodsaver and it works great. This handheld Vaccuum has been nothing but a big disappointment. I seal a product and it does not hold at all. I can actually see the air returning into the bag. I bought new bags thinking that it was a bad batch of bags, but the new ones are doing the same thing.

Hand held Vacuum Sealer w/Charging Base
I have had it about 2 weeks. I first tried fresh mushrooms in one bag, lettuce in another to see if they would stay fresh longer than in my Blue ALWAYS FRESH storage bags.
#1. vacuumed bags did not keep the air tight seal it started off with on day 1.
#2. Mushrooms turned mushy after 2 days and lettuce was limp and wet. Will try lettuce again with a paper towel inside and see if that works.
My storage bags kept lettuce fresh for a week + and mushrooms 4-5 days.
So far Blue Bags win!!
***As of now I would not recommend this to a friend until I use it more and see what results I get.

Died after less than 2 years
Well it's dead. Loved it when I first got it, now it will no longer charge. What a waste of money

Dissapointed
It did not hold a charge for long at first, then after a while it wouldn't charge at all. Also, some of the bags didn't stay vacuum sealed. I wish I would have sent it back during the 30 return period. I will stick with my full sized Foodsaver, I love that!!

Easy to Use!
This is easy to use especially when you wil be reopening the package frequently taking out slices of lunchmeat or cheese. I have the one in blue and it doesn't take up much space.

FABULOUS PRODUCT
I love this product; my only regret is that I cannot freeze in these bags. Perhaps they will consider bags that you can? :)

Great Product
This does a great job. I've used it for lemons, onions, apples, avocados, Kansas City steaks, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Works great on everything but raspberries, unless your good enough to be able to suck the air out w/o crushing them. The trick to using it, tho, is to make SURE the seal is TIGHT. You have to run your finger up and down the seal a few times to make sure. After I read the Q&A and found that out, then I had a blast sealing everything!

I like everything about this. I bought it in red and keep it charged. Its doing everything that they said it would for me! Great product.

works great
This item works great and is much cheaper than the larger models. It would make a nice gift for either men or women. Hubby uses it to store small items he don't want to misplace in the garage. I use it mainly to freeze food. We have 2 and both are well worth the price.

charge capacity
Device will not hold a charge. I did not expect to have to leave it plugged in 24/7. I will be selling this at a garage sale and go back to store brands.
