I enjoyed using my pressure cooker until I lost the float valve. ( that was a very bad design for the product ) Now I can't use it at all. I called the company, they said the Montell Williams Living Well Pressure Cooker has been discontinued. Really ! I've had it less than a year and now it's garbage. Unless somebody has a clue where I can find one.( float valve) I would appreciate it greatly. And as for recommending this product I would have to say no, for the reason being it's discontinued. And replacement parts are not available.

loved while it woorked
Loved it while it worked. got 1 worked for awhile, then had to send back ,had bad computer.
Glad there was no hassell to send back.
got another lasted13 months and its now got a bad sensor.
called the company they told me they no longer make this item.
i didnt contact qvc because it has been over a year.
this product does have a gasket that will wear out ,so you might not be able to get it if your cooker last longer without breaking. giving a low score because of it not lasting.

only lasted a year
I purchased this item a year ago. Used it a handful of times and thought I loved it. Paying $155 for something I think it should last more than just over a year!! The piece that holds the metal part with the rubber gasket on it completely snapped off. After calling multiple places I was told that unfortunately this product is already discontinued? very frustrating

Not happy
I ordered this and thought it would make my life easier. Well I was wrong. The timer after 6 uses doesnt work. I can hear the food boiling and the pressure is building but the timer wont count down. I called qvc and the recommended that I call the montel company. The company really didnt care. I would never buy anything made by the company again. I love QVC !!!! I will buy another brand from them!

Love this!
I think this is the best thing I've ever used in my kitchen. I use it at least twice a week and couldn't be happier. I really like being able to come home and throw together a beef stew, chicken noodle soup, or a good ol' pot of beans and have it table ready in less than an hour. That includes getting the ingredients prepped for cooking. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a dual purpose cooker that works like a dream.

Good Start Bad finish
I purchaced this item because I wanted the safty features as I had been using the old fasioned on that was my Moms (it is 45 years old!)
Fiorst try was a breeze, cooked wonderfully, second time it would not build up pressure. I took it all apart, tripple cleaned it again and again. Still just steam no preassure. Sent it back without a problem when I mentioned that I saw others had had the same issue. Back to using Moms "old fashioned one"

Not So Great!!!
This pressure cooker is not QVC quality!! The silver finish is coming off the lid of this pressure cooker and we have had many occurences with this pressure cooker timing out before it comes up to pressure!

Waste of money
I only used it once before it would not hold pressure. My meals after that were ruined. I am still paying for it? I am thoroughly disappointed with the quality of this product.

Love It!
We love our pressure cooker. Haven't prepared many of the recipes. Prepare most of our meats and veggies in it. Preparing the meat first, then adding the veggies to the broth. Has helped improve our quality of life by giving us an easy means to prepare wholesome food.

QVC? Where's your quality control?? NO PARTS
I purchased this just over a year ago. Although it was a little difficult to get the instructions down without the manual, I got used to it and we were friends. The unit has since broken in a number of areas and NO PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. Maybe all the purchasers of this unit can pool together their pressure cookers and we can exchange parts. QVC is usually very helpful on the return of a terrible product (I can see a number of us have had this problem) but they were unable to help. They should not be selling this product at all. What a disappointment, not only on the product but on how QVC isn't giving refunds or any assistance at all. AND QVC IS STILL SELLING THEM EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE DISCONTINUED! Very disappointing to a 20 year customer.

manufacturer poor customer service
I had this product for only 8 months and the whole unit malfunctioned, would not turn on. I called the manufacturer of product as instructed in the warranty info. that came with product. I was told this unit was discontinued two years ago and there was nothing they could do for me. When I called QVC to explain the same issue, QVC customer service went above and beyond with their exceptional customer service skills. I will receive a refund for the defective unit through QVC. I will not purchase this product ever again due to Montell Williams lack of customer support service.

Not a good buy
Only used a couple of times, then it didn't hold the pressure. Can't get replacement part either. What good was it for me to spend that kind of money on something that doesn't work after a month.
