My Favorite Kitchen Appliance
We bought this in December with intentions to purchase other healthy products for the kitchen since we are do it your selfers. I do not have to purchase anything else., I make green juices...my fav recipe is wheatgrass, mint and pineapple..my second is kale, carrots and apples....this machine does it all and all this time later is behaving like new. I love it and do recommend to everyone. My friend made me juice with hers and I was convinced I wanted one and now I wish I could get one for all of the people I love. It is the best product I had purchased.
I waited to post a review until I tried it and have used it daily since QVC shipped-fast...no issues...we took banana and cut into small pieces and froze...put it in the omega and had a frozen treat. I cannot say enough. This is a good machine.

Great Choice!
i spent a long time looking at different types and different brands of juicers. this was a perfect blend of everything i wanted and a price i though was reasonable. And with a rare 15 year warranty i just couldn't pass it up.

get juicing
I just opened the box and found the instructions easy to follow. This makes great juice and is pretty quick. From box open to drinking juice was about 20 minutes. I need to work on my recipes a bit but that is not the juicers fault. I had to use the strainer otherwise it has a smoothie texture which is a bit gross. The left overs are pretty dry and it worked great on leafy vegetables.

Good for Greens not for fruits!
I have had this juicer for over 2 months while it is excellent for Greens it is horrible for fruits. As soon as you put something like mango,pineapple, or oranges it clogs and you have to disassemble rinse and start over for that reason I am not sure I would buy such a expensive juicer that is only good for green drinks.

Very Diverse
The is just one great machine i've owned several juicers and it tops them all. I prepare all my meals at home and have an array of kitchen tools and have almost done away with many of them. The 8006 does exactly what it says it does and more.

LOVE IT!
I've been using this juicer 3 to 5 times a day now for almost a month and I can say with conviction that I LOVE IT! Hardly no foam, juices wheat grass and greens with ease. I have not noticed any type of marking or shavings coming off of the auger as some online reviewers had mentioned. I would buy it again in a heartbeat! I haven't used my Jack LaLane juicer since I got this. A fantastic buy!

Great Juicer!
Recently received this juicer, have used it a few times throughout the day. I had looked into many juicers before deciding on this one. I have to say though, one really has to look at a few demo videos rather than relying on so many mixed reviews. When it all came down to it, there are so many different models out there to choose from such as Breville etc. Some can make you larger quantities of juice quicker for example but give a lesser quality nutrition wise at the end such as the quicker oxidation rate factor for the centrifugal type, foam etc.
The 8006 is extremely efficient. Glad I didn't go on half the reviews out there as many written can be deceiving based on assumptions. Contrary to the 80,000 people writing about how this juicer is more for "green juicing" such as wheatgrass rather than fruits..didn't make sense to me. Afterall I wanted a juicer for any fruit to juice not just a green juice. First thing I made, anything citrus. Completely fabulous. Makes excellent grapefruit, Clementine orange juices! Very dry pulp leftover. You also maintain the option of the strainer which either gives a clear juice or with pulp. As far as softer fruits. Peaches, mangos, they are meant to be thicker not clear. One can add a bit of water to adjust such juices or through some apples into that type. I made an excellent tomato juice as well. But unlike a common juicer, I was able to make fruit sorbet, etc. You do have to cut some items up a little smaller than simply throwing a whole pear in the machine. But really..that doesn't take much time. It juiced the whole carrot, no problem. Very efficient. I have a lot of vegetable soup base now!
I still have yet to try peanut butter, breadstick dough, pasta..so really combinations endless. Cleaning parts, easy. Takes 2 minutes warm water. Looks like a lot of parts at first. Once you get used to it, no big deal. So it juices differently then the centrifugal juicer but still at an excellent pace. I had a filled bucket of grapefruit juice rather quickly. I highly suggest looking at some videos on this juicer rather than simply relying on mixed reviews. And oh juicer has a 15 yr warranty!

DO NOT DELAY TO GET THIS JUICER ON EASY PAY!
O.K so I am not new to juicing . . . and this is the third juicer I have purchased, but this was my FIRST ever OMEGA juicer and my FIRST MASTICATING juicer. This is a professional juicer people. It is super quiet, and simple to use. It cleans up beautifully in less then a minute. I did my homework before buying a new juicer and I researched a number of different brands as well as comparing centrifugal juicers vs. masticating juicers. The Omega 8006 came out on top every time. I was more then thrilled to find Omega juicers at QVC and being offered on easy pay as well. My advice is if you want to juice or you are looking to juice greens . . . then this is the one to buy. Get yourself a book on juicing and GET THIS JUICER ASAP. I love, love, love the Omega 8006 and juice 2-3 times daily.

Excellent purchase!!!!!!
I have been juicing for almost a year. I didnt know if i would like it at first so i purchased a vertical, centrifugal juicer for about $100.00. It was a Breville and fit my needs as a beginner juicer. Now I was ready to move up to a model that produced more juice,more quietly, and with less oxidation. Wow, am I ever happy with this Omega!!!! I purchased this 8006 because of the 15 year warranty and the melamine auger. The Breville was a hassle to clean so I usually juiced once a day, now I juice 3 times daily because it is so easy to clean and use. I did my research on this model and waited to see if QVC would carry it and Im so glad they did because now I have 3 months in which to pay for it and returns are easy if there is a problem ( but i havent had one so far and i dont expect there to be any!) If you are a serious juicer this is a fantastic machine that I would not hesistate to recommend!

LOVE IT!
Super easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. I am very impressed with how well it "squeezes" every drop out of the wheat grass and other veggies I use. My only regret is that I didn't get it sooner!!!!

A MUST !!
Have in every household! Just received mine today. Picked up cilantro, spinach, apples, seedless red grapes (all organic on sale) on my way home. Assembly super easy..just follow the pictures for what U are going to do..everything slides, snaps easily in place.
I have from QVC an apple corer/slicer, which slices the apples in the ideal size. Alternated
spinach, apples, grapes, cilantro etc...using an amazingly small amount of produce for a 10oz. glass of pure juice..I did place the screen on the juice receptical, because the leafy greens do foam a bit, needed at the very end a bit of 'encouragement' to get the last bit of juice thru the screen due to the foam, raked with a spoon, to get the last thru...well worth it. Using the screen gave me pure juice, a no pulp quality drink...Delicious. I use my Ninja Pulse to make Pizza dough, so can't wait to make noodles, using the Ninja to make the dough, and the Omega the noodles..This is a must for anyone interested in a healthy life style!

I juice greens!
This machine is so versatile but I have only used it for my green drinks hence the 4 stars. I can seriously say it is the best juicing investment I ever made! The quality is excellent, I'm sure it will do well with the other functions also.And with the easy pay I didn't have to wait!
