Cook's Essentials 12-qt Covered Stockpot - Black

Great size
It is so nice to have a pan that isn't stuffed to the brim when I want to make a large portion of something. Spaghetti sauce, chicken soup, it all fits with lots of room to spare at the top so things don't splash over. Easy clean up too. I wish I had this kind of pot years ago.

Stock Pot
It is a stock pot, what else would you expect? It does a good job cooking whatever I put into it.
It is better than most I have had, tired or seen.
I just hope the inside finish last longer than the other cook essentials stuff I have bought here.

THE BOMB POT!!!!
THIS POT IS SOOOO COOL, BIG & WITH "HELPER" HANDELS, MAKE MORE OF
THIS STYLE....FOR THE ELDERLY (MOM'S) WHO HAVE ISSUES LIFTING & POURING
THIS IS GREAT, I HAVE THE OTHERS AS WELL & HAVE BOUGHT THEM FOR MY
MOM TOO!! THE EVERYDAY PANS, LOVE THEM AS WELL... KEEP THIS SYTLE COMING, MORE SIZES.... :-)

Not Great for Flat Top Stoves
I love Cook's Essentials and wanted a really big stockpot so I was excited to get this pot. Unfortunately, the first time I went to use it I found that the bottom was not completely flat and sort of puffed out a little right at the center. This did not work well at all with my flat top stove. I could peek under and see only a small portion of the pot was actually touching the stovetop. I was unable to get the water to boil at all in this pot so I sent it back. Luckily QVC is great about retuns, because I'd already thrown away the box and paperwork. If you have a gas or electric stove this would probably not be an issue at all, but for a flat top it wasn't the best.
