The 6 Cs of Diamonique Jewelry
Cut: Cut to maximum brilliance. Common cuts include round, princess (square), marquise, and pear.
Color: Rated an E on the color scale—a perfect blue-white stone.
Clarity: Flawless. Manufactured from the finest rough. No inclusions.
Carat: The carat size of a Diamonique simulated gemstone is measured exactly the same as natural diamonds. Thus, a one-carat Diamonique simulated gemstone is equal in size to a one-carat diamond.
Cost: The look and appeal of real diamonds at a fraction of the cost.
Confidence: Set in gold, Platinum Clad® sterling silver, sterling silver, or stainless steel—only you will know you're wearing Diamonique jewelry.
The round is the most common type of brilliant cut and falls into the same category as the heart, oval, marquise, and pear. Over three-quarters of diamonds are round cut. All brilliants feature at least 58 facets and are known for their incredible fire and sparkle.
Some say a perfect princess cut looks like a pulsating, brilliant star. Developed in 1960 by diamond-cutter A. Nagy, the princess cut usually features 49 or 50 facets (but there can be more). The cut's lively appearance derives from a series of V-grooves scored on the back of the stone.
