Well Constructed to Lay Flat
I ordered this in the 16 inch. At first due to shipping, the necklace was a bit twisted. However, I smoothed it out, and held each end, placed it on my neck and it does not flip. It is perfectly flat. This black spinel necklace is very versatile, and I find myself wearing it for casual and dress up.

VERY PRETTY
I have worn this necklace for a couple of days before writing my review because there is a weirdness to the construction of this necklace, the quality and color of stones is perfect its really a beautiful necklace but the construction leaves me feeling very unsure because of the high cost involved. I get that in order for the stones to lay flat when being worn the designer only connected one point of the stones gallery and left the other side unconnected to allow the necklace to be fluid when being worn, this way it can adjust to any neckline because of this I am concern, to me, this makes the necklace weak and susceptible to easy breakage at the cost of $300 plus I am not sure I want to take the risk. So sadly I would be returning this with a heavy heart only because I am afraid of it breaking two months from now. And another thing the packaging it arrived in was horrible, it came in a twisted bundle.

Very pretty
I haven't had any problem with the necklace turning. You have to let it hang straight then pick up the end and make sure it isn't twisted. I wore it to sleep and it was still straight in the morning.
It is very pretty and sparkly with a heavy silver and gem presence. It does look a bit like faceted onyx...I didn't know what to expect so I'm not sure what to think..it's less sparkly than I thought but I want to give it a couple of weeks to adjust t it. It is very expensive so I want t make sure I'm 100% happy.
I think when it was shown the expectations were too high and because it was advance order I couldn't look at a video. I gave it 5 stars because it is so lovely, I'm just not sure it is what I wanted.
