Affordable Elegance
Like one of the other reviewers, I also own some other "status link" equestrian pieces that I purchased many years ago before the price of gold went through the roof. I could definitely not afford these same pieces today. However, even though my "tastes" have not changed, I have lowered my "expectations" on today's 14k gold jewelry. This piece weighs 24.5 grams which would be very substantial and EXPENSIVE if it was solid gold. Of course I do not know how much of this weight is actually gold and how much is silicone, but I do know this, you can not tell the difference between this piece and my other solid gold pieces. Isn't that why movie stars wear costume jewerly that looks like the real thing? Since no one can tell the difference, what does it really matter? I have worn it several times and it has not dented or scratched. In my opinion, while this bracelet was not inexpensive, I feel that I got my money's worth. In fact, I prefer wearing it over some of my other solid gold pieces because if I lost one of them, I could not afford to replace them. Also, they are becoming increasingly difficult to find because they are so expensive. I gave this item 5 stars because it is very well done and I've had a number of "eye popping" compliments on it.

Lightweight but pretty
Love the design, but a little light weight. Still a pretty piece

Pretty but overpriced
I debated on keeping this because it is pretty, but it looks like it will dent very easily. not worth the price, sent it back.
Too bad QVC has offered pretty gold again,but the quality is really bad.

Missing Weight
Love the style and the fit.
Felt it was overpriced and delicate.
Mine was perfect but I too felt it was vulnerable to scratches and dents and couldn't justify the high price tag given the light weight and structure.
Also surprised that such an expensive piece was presented in a the typical "no-name" box and in bubble wrap.
I sent it back.

Disappointed
I received this today. There was a dent on the top and a couple on the side. It is really very pretty. I wish they'd make this using the cast method. I'm going to stay away from these silicone filled bracelets. Back it goes.

NOT ENOUGH WOW
Unfortunately this is just not worth the price. It's pretty and I know the style is all the rage, but it looks like it could damage and scratch easily. If you never had the opportunity to own solid gold bracelets you may like this but I dont see the value. I may be spoiled from having the ability to buy gorgeous heavy gold peices before the price of gold skyrocketed but it still doesnt quite meet my expectations. I purchased it dring the Gold Rush for less that currently listed, but I just cant justify 1000.00. it should be at best, 300.00. Back it goes.
