Bronzo Italia 20" Polished Graduated Status Curb Link Necklace
I usually wear yellow gold so I was not sure about this necklace, but OMG! It is just beautiful! I get so many compliments when I wear it. Thank you!
Much shinier than picture
The picture looks a bit more like a satin finish than a polished. Just received it and it indeed is a high shine polished finish. Shiny is not my style, therefore, I'll return it. It was my fault for not noting the description and trusting the photo alone.
Now, if the Q offered this in satin, I'll order it in a heartbeat!
Tarnishes your top!
Wore for the second time today over a red cashmere crew neck sweater; looked gorgeous, but a black stain from the
necklace was on the sweater outlining its shape.
Rubbed off somewhat, but will still need dry cleaning.
Over bare skin, it was lovely with no problems.
Classic signature look
Although I have genuine gold graduated beads from my mother, they live in a safe deposir box and I have been looking for something I could afford for a signature look in a necklace which is quietly gorgeous. And that's exactly what this necklace is! I never have any problem with it turning as some have written. Before I put it on, I dangle it straight down so that I'm assured when I put it on that all the links are going in the right direction and presto....perfection. It sits beautifully just below my collar bone and gleams softly and beautifully within the collar of my blouses or stands out classically with a dress. Bronzo is amazing in creating an alloy which has the look and feel/weight of genuine rose gold but we don't have to mortage the house :-) Simply superb.
Fabulous Looking Necklace
This is a great looking necklace and looks great on. I love the smaller and bigger links and the big lobster claw closure. It does roll and twist, but that doesn't even bother me that much. This doesn't look like a necklace that costs more than $200. Sorry, QVC, but it's the truth. it looks like something you can pick up at a local retailer for $75. There isn't any gold or silver in this necklace. This is a costume piece of jewelry, and I know some costume jewelry is very expensive. I love the Bronzo Italia line and have other pieces but this is going back because the value is not there.
Should Be Called The Twist
To answer the other reviewer--your neck is NOT defective. Never order anything graduated for this reason, but this time I forgot my own rule. Not only did it twist when not even moving, it had a decidedly tinny sound. Nothing like the quality of the rolo bracelet. Went back super-fast. Also, mine was the 18".
It twist...and twist!
Yes, this beautiful necklace twist. It's lays fine as long as you don't move!
Come to think about it, everytime I saw it aired, only the 18" was being worn. Maybe this was why! And yes ladies, I know it was on correctly.
It's going back.
Had high hopes for this but they were shattered when I tried this necklace on for the first time and it wouldn't stay turned in place. Many attempts later I decided it was going to turn regardless and I don't want another necklace with this problem - takes the fun out of wearing it. It goes from the large links to small ones rather quickly and that may be the culprit in this turning or because the larger links are so heavy. Hopefully because of postage being so high this will be my last piece of jewelry to return since I will think about these problems next time I want something and just not order jewelry any more. I wouldn't recommend this necklace but I did get earrings that seem okay - haven't decided on them yet.
Love it but...
The necklace is beautiful and i am thrilled to get it! My problem is that I can't get it to lay straight on my neck. it wants to twist. i thought i heard during the presentation that it would lay straight on the neck. Is anyone else having this problem? Is my necklace defective? Is there some secret in putting it on? I really like the necklace. i would be grateful for any advice.
I think it is quite stunning and I added the bracelet to it and really liked the look. It was a bit heavy. Going to Scotland this summer and will take this along as I really don't want to bring my real gold
