SO DISAPPOINTING
I simply adore all of Joan River items but this one broke my heart. I LOVE this piece, it is simply stunning but so disappointing as the plaques fall out whenever you bend.God Joan please fix this problem. Go back to the drawing board and please, please re -do this necklace. Please make it work such so that the plaques do not fall out. PLEASE.

pretty, But.......
this has a wow factor on air, but on it doesn't move with you so it looks like its at an odd angle all the time. Back it went.

Stunning!
Joan has such fashion sense. This necklace makes a statement! I only wish Joan would allow us to purchase additional plaques in the other colors without having to purchase the neck chain again. P_L_E_A_S_E Joan makes the other plaques available.

Sooo Disappointed!!
I thought this necklace would be perfect for travel since I could pack 1 necklace and interchange the stones. The first time I wore it, the black stone fell off and I didn't notice it until I got home. (boo-hoo) Now I'm afraid to wear it again. What happened, Joan???

Love this set!!
Saw this one evening when it was a OTO....and was intrigued. I got the rosetone set and found it looks great with some of my Bronzo Italia pieces. This is fun, different, on trend for now, and a usual "Joan Rivers hit!!!!!!

Bold & Beautiful
Another great piece from Joan. Love this piece would have given it 5 stars but, the click on method needs little work. Does not feel secure! But I have gotten so many compliments on this piece makes the outfit!!! Just FYI they are large plaques!

WANTED TO LOVE IT
Got the gold and the idea is really great but the execution and quality is not there. The gold chain is bright yellow gold and garish..and way overpriced!

Not a WOW in person
I liked the big bold styling and the way this necklace looked on air. I have several of Joan's jewelry pieces and had big expectations for this one. The necklace was a nice bold fashion piece. I did not like the changeable pendants. They were large but the material used looked cheap in person. The ivory was not a true color either - had specks in it. Overall, I did not think it was worth the cost even with the 3 pendants so I returned it.

Flawed experiment
This design is more adventurous than the usual Town and Country interchangeable pieces from Joan so it was worth a try. It reminded me a bit of Art Deco, bold mid-century, or something Cleopatra would wear; it's very yang.
However I had the same problem as other reviewers: the plastic inserts did not stay put. I tried putting tape over the back holes and found the insert jutting out from the top at an angle. WIthout the tape it would have fallen off. Also the rosetone necklace had a metal smell, perhaps it needs clear coating.
If this were re-designed so the inserts would really snap into place, or drop into a top slot, or be held by a bar I might try again. Also I'd like to be able to remove the chain to use a cord. If some inserts simulated real stone like lapis that could be interesting. Matching earrings in this shape would be nice, perhaps on-the-ear style, but not faceted plastic, please! The concept is good , but the execution needs re-visiting. Unfortunately this one goes back.

Over Priced
I love the design and even the size of this piece, but I don't think the plastic plaques are worth the price asked for it. Definately over priced.

DID NOT LIKE!
I am jewelry fanatic! I love so many pieces I've purchased from a variety of sellers on QVC, but this piece missed the mark for me. I was excited about this particular necklace because it looked so good on air, and I love that it is 1930's-40's inspired...but it is GIGANTIC. I tried it on, and my husband and I both thought, "No, this doesn't look good!" The card inside does describe the necklace as "big and bold." Joan isn't kidding on that one! I love large pendants (I have many large necklaces) but this one was just too overpowering. PLUS the interchangeable plaques are not secure in the holder. If you tip the plaque it pops out too easily. Not good for being on the move, at work, and busy in life. Two stars for the quality base metal snake chain--it is a nice rose tone, and appeared durable and agile. The plaques appear to be light plastic/acrylic, which I knew, but after trying on...not really worth the $. Returned immediately, but might work for someone else's taste!

Not up to Joan's quality
Thought this looked great on TV. However, when I received it, the changeable plaques are very hard to get on and then to STAY on. The first time I had it on, every time I bent down at work to pick something up the plaque would fall off! I thought it was just the black one that might be defective, but I tried the other two also and they did the same thing. I should have taken note when I was watching TV that Jackie Gonzalez had difficulty a couple of times when she was taking the plaque off and putting it back on, but I ordered it anyway. Kept it since I didn't want to pay shipping charge to return it, but I am very disappointed in the workmanship. It just doesn't look classy in person for the price. Sorry, Joan!
