Sterling Silver Connemara Marble Reversible Pendant

Love it!
I love the dark green of Connemara marble and was a bit disappointed when I got mine and it wasn't super dark, but it was a medium green with bits of lighter green and some yellow. The more I looked at it and wore it the more I liked it, it actually looks a bit like my eye color. It had a bit of a sheen to it when I got it, but as I've touched it and it being on my skin, it's gotten a bit more shiney. I don't ever think it will have a mirror finish, and I'm fine with that. If getting this for a friend, just remember each piece is different and you may get totally different colors (almost yellow to almost black green), I do wish connemara would make some jewlry and specifically only do one color so people know what they're getting *hint hint*. I haven't worn a necklace in years, yet, I've worn this all but 2 days since i got it. I don't feel it and the necklace length is good, I have a larger neck and it isn't choking me, but I'd measure your neck just to be sure, or use a necklace you like! This is my 2nd piece of connemara and I'll be getting more in the future! <3

While the pendant size was good and the silver side was pretty I can not say much about the stone itself except to say it looks like a stone. The finish seems more " brushed" than polished. The most remarkable thing about it was the chip out of it in the very middle. I know marble comes in a multitude of colors and it's always an unveiling when you get one but these pendants are stand alone pieces that make a statement. Some effort should have been made to use stones with a little interest. I returned mine because of the noticeable blemish on the very front of it. I enjoy Connemara Marble on the whole. The matching ear rings to this are very nice. and the square beaded rosary is hefty and interesting with the varying shades of green and yellow. I think that gave me high expectations for this piece. I'll stick to pieces with smaller stones from now on.

Sometimes pretty...2nd time's the charm
I ordered this and, after reading reviews, reordered it hoping to get a prettier stone. My first stone is light green with some scattered marbling at the bottom but not really pretty. The second one I received is a light green, almost no marbling, but very pretty and will not clash with my patterned clothing. Looks really nice with blues. So I am keeping the second. I know it costs postage to return the first, but will be only a few bucks if I mail my way since it is a small envelope. I am glad I reordered this as I really liked the idea of the necklace.I was really hoping to get a dark green stone, but am happy with the light green. Also, the reverse side is a nice option. The chain is very flimsy, but I expect that when i buy these pieces at this price, and always choose to use my own more substantial chains anyway. I am Irish and always try to buy a few pieces of jewelry this time of year as QVC often has some nice stuff. All in all, one happy customer.

So drab
"My 2nd piece of Connemara marble and well, this one missed. Design: attractive but need more silver, chain: weak.
Size of stone:good, back side:cool, marble: dull and boring.
I realize all the marble varies and I can't expect to get my ideal shade of green, however I expect that whether it is lighter or darker, or has alot of variations or few, that it would appear polished and have depth and "life" (If this were my first connemara marble I wouldn't try more)

Irish Smiling
I have been getting a new Saint Pat's Sterling Silver, Connemara piece for 4 years now. This necklace is just as wonderful as the others I have gotten in the past. Good size, love the color and shape of the marble, shiny silver and a bit of the Lucky Irish. Will be wearing this with my other pieces next Saint Pat's Day .

Unique purchase and very wearable jewelry
Love this pendant. It can been worn with many different outfits, not just at St Patrick's Day. What a great idea with the doubled sided look. Each side gives the necklace a different look. I would recommend this to anyone who loves natural stones and genuine silver jewelry. Supurbely made. Nice gift to any Irish friend also. Glad I bought this item. Have already been wearing it and enjoying the look.

Oh my goodness, I don't understand the bad reviews on this piece. It is absolutely gorgeous!! I received it as a gift for
Easter, and it is beautiful. The green is a perfect shade of green, and the marble is definitely noticeable. The sterling
silver looks high quality, and the chain sparkles when I move. It is the perfect size too. The side with the swans is
intricately woven, but the marble side is just as stunning. I love it!!!

Lovely!
I was surprised at what a fine work of art this piece of jewelry is--especially for the price!
I was hoping the marble would be something I would like, and it was a very nice color.
The silver work was beautiful on the back, and on the front.
The chain is fine--but the pendant looks great on it.
I was very happy.
It came in a nice green box with a shamrock design on the top. It looks pretty sitting on my dresser.

A Connemara Easter Egg from Ireland!!! LOVE!!!
I'm not sure why this necklace has gotten some bad reviews, as I think it's a beautiful, eye-catching, uniquely different, and well-done piece! I received a very light green color with some slight marbling, which I love because I've only received the darker green pieces in connemara marble in the past, so it's great to have a light green shade! I love this necklace so much, and the sterling silver that encases the stone, and the chain itself, just glistens! The shamrocks holding the stone are very precious, and the bottom ones look almost like little shamrock hands!!--Adorable!!! And, I just realized today, Easter Sunday, that the stone is shaped exactly like an Easter egg! I would highly recommend this necklace to anyone for casual-fun, and, classy-dress year-round wear!!! Stephen, thanks SO much for bringing this most precious piece to QVC!! Like you, and Ireland, it's definitely a one-of-a-kind treasure!!!

Pendant made me sad
I'm sorry to say...this necklace made me sad when I opened the box...On TV it was a nice green...my piece is dull and mostly gray

lackluster pendant
I purchased this pendant during a One Time Only so got a great deal but I purchased it at the same time as the earrings. The pendant had no marbelization and the pendant was a light green and very different from the earrings. The clasps holding the pendant in place were not as pretty or big as the earrings and overall the piece was very light. I am trying to decide if I send the pendant back or both the pendant and earrings since I can't wear them as a set.
