Disappointed
You can’t imagine how disappointed I was when I received this ring. It was so beautiful on TV and I was excited. I wore it for one week and not one person in my office noticed it. I work with some very sharp ladies when it comes to jewelry. The colors never came through it was just dark.

So happy, then so sad
I purchased this ring and was thrilled to receive it. The stones were brilliant, though very tiny. There was sparkle. I was surprised at the light weight. Within a matter of days, the band bent. No gold. I'm sure a jeweler could straighten the band but, for almost a $1000 I should not have to repair a ring I've only worn a few days. My opinion...way over priced!!! I thought it was a beautiful ring. Oh well, maybe I'll try again...this is why I hate buying higher priced jewelry sight unseen. But QVC has such a great return policy, I thought it worth the risk, and I'm sure I'll take another risk, the next time something strikes my fancy.

Smithsonians Best!!
This will be my signature ring!! I love it. Not to big and I just love the colorful pave diamonds!!! I just keep looking down at my hand to look at it. The diamonds are beautiful colors. Very comfortable on my hand. You will not be sorry to buy this one.

The Diamonds are great
The diamonds are very good quality. I was very disappointed with the gold weight. I was very surprised by lightness of the setting. I'm still on the fence about keeping the ring. I do believe it is over priced.

Disappointed.
This ring was beautiful on TV and online, but in reality you need at least 3X magnification to see any color. It just looks dark in any light, even sunlight. I sent it back today. My husband was so down hearted, because it was a gift for me on our 30th wedding anniversery.

Dark and Lack Luster
Ring was very disappointing--no sparkle, diamonds were very dark and dull. Ring quite light weight. Sent it back and will opt to buy estate diamonds where you get good diamond carat weight and plenty of gold for a fair price.

Disappointed Diamond Lover
My husband encouraged me to purchase this ring after watching the presentation with me. At the time, he thought that the rainbow colors of the diamonds were beautiful. In reality, they are very dark and tiny. When I opened the very ordinary box that it arrived in, my husbands comment was "looks like a beetle". The shape and coloration of the top of the ring is unattractive. It does look like a bug. The gold used in the band is very light and it feels inexpensive to me. Being a 14kt.gold and diamond lover, I thought that I had hit the jackpot. Because of the economy the jewelry offered now is not the quality that I have had the pleasure of owning in the past. QVC is trying to satisfy customers like me. I appreciate their efforts, however, this piece just isn't all that for me.

The Perfect Gift
We bought this for our daughter for a very special reason and we will give it to her for her birthday. It's an incredibly beautiful ring. The diamonds sparkle in regular light, and when you take it into the sun - wow! We did tell her about it and let her try it on because she won't get it as her gift for 6 months, and we wanted to make sure it was OK AND she liked it - which of course she did! Her dad was amazed how "classic and pretty" it was on her finger. The gold setting doesn't overwhelm the rainbow of diamonds, yet stands on its own in beauty too. The gold setting and the diamond cluster are like twins - one doesn't overpower the other. We're very happy!

STUNNING!!
I have not been able to take my eyes off this ring since it arrived two days ago. The colors and sparkle of the diamonds are simply mesmerizing! I am wondering if the reviewer who thought the ring was dark and colorless tried it in different lights, because the stones are at their twinkly best in sunlight and under artifical light, although mine still look lovely in dimmer light as well. The ring is large enough to be noticed (as it has been already by several people!) but still dainty enough to be elegant, and the undergallery is beautifully designed and executed. If I could give this ring more stars than 5, I would! - I think it is THE perfect ring.

So Disappointed
I was so excited about ordering this ring I was bragging about it before I even seen it.
What a let down. This ring is dull, dismal and light as a feather. The gold has no weight to it at all. The diamonds are so small and the background so dark, I got depressed just looking at it. The idea was great but one would expect so much more for a Smithsonian. Definitely not a good buy for that kind of money. So much for me treating myself to a beautiful birthdayn gift. Back it goes.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
Where is the Rainbow of Colors" ?
The stones in this ring are very dark and tend to blend togather. Not an elegant peice of jewerly at all - I was hoping for beautiful colored diamonds that would compliment my summer wardrobe. This one is history.

SIMPLY EXQUISITE AND ELEGANT!
I just received my ring today and it is simply spectacular! What a stunner! The setting is so elegant and oh the diamonds-they sparkle and twinkle so much even in dim light. The stones are set very well so no fears of cheap workmanship either. Thank you Smithsonian-Diamond's really ARE a girl's best friend!!!
