American West Sterling Etched Band Ring
All the reviews say "size up" and with a wide band this is normal! But I did and it is too big so will have to return for normal size.
Also, a little disappointed that the picture and on tv the ring looks heavy with anodized! The one I received has very little and the etching hardly shows up!
Will return and re-order, hoping for better results.
Great every day band...
This ring could have been too basic and a bit boring in the wrong hands. But CP always adds just the right finishing touches to push a piece like this into greatness. First of all, it's the perfect width at 3/8". And I love that the ring domes, giving it some presence on the finger rather than lying flat. The butterfly/thunderbird track motiff is interesting but not overdone, and the balance between the oxidized stamping and high polished finish is, again, perfection. The inside of the ring is smooth for a comfy fit, and it does have some concavity there which relieves that full feeling you get on the finger from a wide band ring. So I'd say this ring runs a half size small as opposed to a full size small because of that incurvature. Some ladies will need to size up and some may find that they don't. I'm normally a size 7 on my index finger but did order a size up to accommodate the wide band. It's bigger than I would like, but the 7 might have been snug. I'd rather have it roomy than snug so I'll make it work. Great every day band!
Love the American West
Big fan of Southwestern jewelry and this was a great purchase....Love the ring.
Love this ring, don't even know it's on my hand!! Just wear and enjoy! I love the butterfly symbol & all things Southwest. No stone to worry about. A carefree ring!!
Runs small in size, was disappointed I had to return it. Shipping is so expensive to return, so guess I will stick with buying local.
Beautiful definitely size UP
I was watching the presentation and Jill and Carolyn both mentioned since it wasn't tapered in the back, it would be more comfortable if a person sized up. Glad that I heard them say it - I am normally a half size so I always size up to the next full size, but in this case, I sized up a full size from that. So I usually buy a 7 and went up to an 8.
I like that fit - it will be too big for my ring finger, but it fits the middle, index and thumb for that matter. Nice silver weight and I like the Native American symbols. I like the look of it very much. Great ring for casual wear.
Need to Size Up on this Butterflied Beauty
This is a handsome, impeccably crafted and finished ring. The etched butterfly and thunderbird track design is as lovely in its symbolism as in its visual appeal. I followed the advice given on the video for sizing on rings that are the same width all the way around and ordered one size up from my usual ring finger size. It was a good thing I did, as I still needed the inner concavity of the ring to comfortably get the ring over my knuckle. Once on the ring was very comfortable, and by the end of the day I was no longer aware I was wearing it. As It can go with so many other pieces it will be worn often.
The pictures online and even the live show did not do this ring justice. It is beautiful on and if you like the Indian/Cowboy look, you'll love this ring.
Nice but sizing seems to be a little off
Mine just came today and I knew by just looking at it that it was going to run small. The band is somewhat wide, but that shouldn't make this big a difference. I know when to size up and that shouldn't have been a problem here. I get so tired of dealing with ring sizes. I mean a 6 is a 6...practically every ring I own fits a little differently. Other than that, it's a nice ring.
This ring is perfect if you love Native American jewelry and American West. I love that it is a wide band. I love the design.
